I had a very negative experience at Shinwari Hujra Faisalabad. The food quality was very poor and not cooked properly after taking 1.5 hours. It was clear that the staff did not know how to cook Shinwari karahi properly. The staff was also not cooperating and unhelpful. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially food lovers. It is a waste of time and money.

They don't have much variety as written on menu, they only have special makhni karahi, which have white gravy, other gravies are made with onion, according to the order taker.
Ambience is just average.
Not a family gathering place at all.
If you order karahi then they will say 40 minutes, but it will be served atleast after 70 minutes, as I have been observing all other tables.
They have many waiters, but still zero service.
While they added handi's in menu, which have quantity of 300 Grams in 1200-1250.

First of all they served us hot Russian Salad on second they told that they don't have mineral water in 1Liter pack now come to main course taste of food was not up to the standard in last ask for Ghulab-Jamun they served oven hot not fresh.

We have ordered their speciality which is lamb shinwari karahi. Overall taste and quality is best. They use light spices and made it in lamb fat. I loved the taste. Tea was also good. The sitting areas is colourful and beautiful.

I just loved this place so much!
The classic shinwari beds with round pillows and open air without any noise. The best way to detox after a hustling day.
IMP: The waiting time is 1 hour! So make sure to order promptly.
Went there for an iftar, prayed and chatted while the order was being prepared.
Their most famous dish is Shinwari Lamb Karahi, and it was such a delight. Cooked in its own juices to perfection. Salt and pepper and the green chillies, perfectly balanced and no burning spices.
Then there were the Chappli Kababs which were again top notch.
The Chicken Makhni Karahi was so good as well.
Served with a 1.5 foot long crispy Afghani Roti, Raita and Salad.
I know I'm going to get addicted to this.

One of the best Beef Chapli kebabs that I have had, crunchy from the top, extremely soft and flavorful from inside with the right amount of fat content which just enhanced everything 9/10. The chicken shinwari karahi again was completely balanced the meat was cooked properly and was succulent, the spices were not overpowering, it actually complemented and created a good eating experience 8.5/10. Everything including Afghani, roghni and kalonji naan, the total nushka came to 3k with enough leftovers of the karahi for tomorrow's lunch.
Total Rating 9/10 (I have to admit that Punjab does great desi food, wilayati naaaah)
So if you're in Faisalabad do give this place a try, totally recommended!!

I visited 1st time, and the experience was excellent, Food was really tasty and accurate to the recipes. Specially Mutton Rosh (Namkeen Roash) and Mutton Masala Rosh. Mutton Chomps was excellent, Matka Chaye was really good. The atmosphere was very good outdoor. Overall, it's a good place for mutton lovers. Famlily Place. One of the best in Faisalabad.
