I would like to comment about one particular staff member that did something that has never been than to me as a costumer+since I'm 8 months pregnant I don't really really remember her name correctly idont wanna say the wrong name but I'm sure if you ask some of your stuff that were on duty that they will know who I'm talking about I was on the line on my way to her till and she was behind the till.. When it was time for me to take out my I tems from my trolley put it in a counter that lovely angel of a lady that was on the the till came out of her till came straight to my trolley asked to move (and I was like okay where is she going is she going on break while she sees that I kind of need her service) she came to my trolley off loaded all my items to her counter and went to her till to continue with her work😍😢😊.. Listen I'll never forget what that lovely lady did for and I've been telling my self that I need to return to give her lunch.. What she did showed me kindness.. Hey lovely lady I'm coming back for you I'm not sure if her name is Smangele I'm really not sure

Always very busy. Meat not very fresh. Takeaway foods are cold; Fish is oily, chicken is dried out. The staff aren't very customer focussed. A lot of regular products aren't available.

Good friendly staff the shop is nice and clean fresh produce and a very big range of products their service is top notch I hope most Shoprites can have a cashier and packer at every till that knows how to greet and smile and all of the fruits and vegetables we bought was fresh the bread was also and the fresh smell from the bakery of the cakes and fresh cakes and cookies

A very busy supermarket, you can find just about anything here and it's conveniently situated in the centre of town. Their prices are very competitive and it's an ideal place to do your grocery shopping while in town, next to the banks and post office. I find that the mornings during the week are a bit quieter.

I had such a terrible treatment after a long stressful day on 28/6/18 around 17:30. The teller machine apparently jammed & the very rude teller with a rotten attitude decided only to inform the customer she was currently ringing for to use the kiosk teller to pay, I & the other 3 stood there until momenta later another staff member came along with that 'closed' sign they put there. After I almost blew my last nerve refusing to be treated like this I was taken to the kiosk by this other staff member. After finishing paying I was told to pack my own items 'cos this is a kiosk for few items', when I told this again bad attitude 2nd teller that it was not by choice & my fault I ended up infront of her, only then she wanted to finish packing my stuff. In all this there was no manager or supervisor dealing with this rubbish. I was too tired to stand & wait for a manager that is 'not known' where is at. After using this shop regularly since January, I might just opt for the Pick n Pay up the road.

Great shopping value. 26 May. I am switching to Shoprite for the next few months for the following reasons: Wendy, Theo and the rest of the staff seem indispensable. The homemade chicken and vegetable soup, the fish cakes and the potato hash browns available from the deli. are no 1 in my book. The soup🍜🍜 is chunky and delicious, the hash browns🏅✨ moist and tasty and the crisp and light fish cakes🎈🎈 should be the order of the day . Marvellous find. Easy on the pocket too. 🤗 😂 😘❤️🎉😎✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️Linda McCartney frozen vegetarian yet meaty tasting foods. Now R10 for 227 - 300gm box, down from R30. Hurry 🤸🚴🚣🏄. Where else would one get 2 mozzarella veg burgers 🍔🍔for R10? Super delish.

Well situated in centre of town. not happy with having to que on every visit. well stocked. I aspecialy like their "farmhouse" matured steaks.
