What can I say about Short's Brewing that you don't already know. It's been one of my favorite breweries for almost two decades. This place doesn't have all the exotic flavors that you might have had or heard of, but there are twenty five or so options. And it's certainly a nice little spot along the highway to grab a pint. There's no kitchen here, but there was a guy selling hot dogs if you must eat.

Wow, the food truck is amazing! You get a huge portion of great tasting food for a good price and it all pairs great with a local IPA suggested by one of the friendly bar tenders. Great atmosphere all around. I took my leftovers home and couldn't even finish it all for lunch the next day. Definitely stop by.

Amazing how it has grown. Yet, as one of their biggest supporters in the past 20 years I no longer enjoy their beer. They joined the bandwagon on cans only. The only one that benefits from can only is the investor in my opinion. I do enjoy filling my growler on occasion.

Great beers. Love this brewery! It has a nice outdoor eating area with fairy lights. Highly recommended for a date night.

In August of 2018 I photographed a rehearsal dinner for a wedding at Short's Brewing Company. The staff were super friendly and it felt exactly the was it should being held at a brewery. Everyone was at ease and super laid back. It provided a fun atmosphere with lots of jovial folks which made my job really easy. -- And the beer was freaking yummy. It's nice to have a job where I can drink while I work. :)

The Pull Barn is a great place to have a drink. Plenty of Shorts better on tap to choose from and two food trucks out front as well. They even had a free garden vegetable stand. Good people and good beer!

It's nice that they moved closer to us easier to get to Elk Rapids than Bellaire. Both places are beautiful and of course the beer is on point!

Pure Michigan Autumn IPA, hands down the best beer I’ve ever had! Same as all my buddies say as well. It is seasonal I found out. I’m from SE MI and traveled many places to try to find it again after my nearest party store ran out but no luck. Hoping this beer will be a main stay! Please make this beer 24/7!

At Thursday night bingo , couldn’t even tell this was the announcers first time hosting , he did great and it was a blast ! Did I mention it was FREE? Free is for me- come on down and buy a round.
