Wow!!! Loved it! What an amazing and excellent experience having authentic Indian taste in the beautiful city of Dalat. I have eaten lunch at this restaurant for two straight days and really enjoyed the food, the hospitality and the melodious Indian music in the restaurant. I tried multiple dishes, and drinks. The food taste over exceeded my expectations. Very delicious food. Moreover, the people working in the restaurant were extremely respectful and welcoming. The servers were extremely professional and helpful with customizing the dishes according to my needs. Also, the chef and the owner specially came to me at the end of my meal to ask me feedback for improvement. Highly impressed and would definitely recommend to someone looking for authentic Indian taste! We had such a great meal with very “backhome cooking “ style and proper price too. The owner Aryan was very kind and loquacious 😄 in a good way. I love pani puree and fish curry which I even didn’t have time to take photo of because I was busy enjoying. Had delivery so I am not sure of the atmosphere but what I do know is I reci eved more delicious food than my husband and I could finish. We shared the Chicken Thali and an order of samosas. I was back in Dalat today 19th August and found the restaurant at new premises. The place was empty and a male waiter with a hearing impairment took my order. The chicken curry arrived within a minute but it was cold and tasted like it had been cooked some days earlier. The naan was equally cold and crumbly, perhaps just removed from the freezer. I could only manage several bites before leaving the premises vowing never to return. Below is my original review. I returned today June 24th 2023 for lunch. I am happy to say that my meal was world class as always and the service was exceptional. This restaurant knows and understands Indian cuisine intimately and I look forward to returning to Dalat and Shri Gananesha in the future. Unfortunately, 5 stars is the maximum or I'd happily rate it 6 stars. Below is my original review. This restaurant was my saviour in Dalat. It's difficult to find but well worth the effort. It is on top of a hill with good views of the city below. The menu is extensive and has all the famous Indian dishes including a huge vegetarian variety. On my first visit I tried the aubergine (eggplant)in thick masala with a naan. It was very tasty. On my second visit I had the chicken seekh kebab done in the tandoor . It had a tasty smoky flavour. Request more chilli when you order or you may find the food too bland. If you ever visit Dalat, don't give this place a miss. Beautiful food, reasonably priced and the size of that naan bread is not a joke 🤣 Lovely touch to give us something to share which was free! Some lovely sauces to accompany. We asked for our food not to be spicy as we are wimps and they happily obliged. All in all a 8/10, atmosphere was a bit dead and some French people didn’t shut up about some random sauce that they said EVERY CURRY HAS TO HAVE AND IT IS A DISGRACE THEY DONT HAVE, even though this is a North Indian restaurant and the sauce they was asking for was south…. The food here made me drool and increased my hunger. Every food is as indian and made me feel at home. Caution: Naan is super large and is big enough for 2 so order wisely😆😆 we ordered 2 and left both uneaten. Taste is 10/10 with very sweet and kind staff. It was raining, and we got complementary onion pakoda with chutney(which in itself was very, very delicious). Naan here was the biggest in whole Vietnam, and all indian restraunts in vietnam seem to have got the best talent from India.
