Brilliant views over Christchurch and the Port Hills. Loved the drive up from Christchurch (10mins) and down into Lyttleton. Takeaway coffees available but must bring your own cup. The Sign of the Kiwi Cafe is a real nice spot. The view's pretty sweet, with those hills in the backdrop. A great place to chill after taking the tracks. The service is friendly, and the decoration's got a bit of quirky fun style to it. So, if you're after a laid-back spot to grab a cuppa and take in the views, this cafe's worth a visit, no doubt. Beautiful cafe with a beautiful view! They have good variety in their food cabinet but they also have a few breakfast menu options too! Good coffee and lovely service! Both indoor and outdoor seating and reasonable prices on food/drinks. It can be a bit hard to get a park but 100% worth it. There’s also a quick walking track alongside the cafe to see Governors Bay! Arrived right on time for hot fresh dates scone ! Love it ! The food are great and the view is stunning. Love the atmosphere. Did not regret spending the trip up here for a breakfast before heading off for a road trip.
