They changed the restaurant name from Silver Star to Smile Restaurant, just right opposite of Pristine Mermaid Resort Ngapali, family oriented style of cooking, the lady who speaks English was the chef and lady boss too. We were at Pristine Mermaid Resort for 3D2N, found this local restaurant on our 2nd day, we had our lunch, dinner and lunch again here before we left Ngapali. Affordable and recommended!

Highly recommended small fish restaurant in Ngapali beach! We had dinner three times during our holiday in this lovely restaurant. First of all waiter and owner are amazing people, very caring and joyful. Food is outstanding in terms of quality and presentation. You can see and taste the love and attention that is put in every dish. We tried fish coconut curry, grilled red snapper, squid salad and they were all amazing. Thank you Silver star!

Great family run restaurant with superb service. Tea Leaf Salad was one of the better ones I had in Myanmar. The steamed Red Snapper was outstanding - they use lemongrass, ginger, garlic, and other spices and the result is nothing short of spectacular.

Fantastic family run restaurant.. We would just ask them to suggest whatever they thought would be best from the local cuisine and every single dish they suggested was amazing! Super fresh ingredients and one of the best pinacoladas I have ever had.. Even the squid (something both me and my husband usually don't like) was outstanding! The mixed tempura was also amazing and so was the rakhine style fisherman seafood curry..

Très déçue de ce fameux restaurant accueil plus que méprisant après avoir attendue plus de 15 minutes nous nous sommes entendu dire que la table était réservé alors que le restaurant était presque vide (trois tables occupées )et que nous devions allez dans le fond, sur ces belles paroles nous nous sommes empressé de dire que aucun panneaux ne signalait cette réservation et nous nous sommes levé et avons quitté ce fameux restaurant qui mérite pas cette appellation .Êtres dans tripavisor leurs fait perdre la tête à ceux là
