Well I have to say that I think the Albany Sizzler, under new leadership (thank you Dennis) has made a turn around! Restaurant was clean. Food on the salad bar was fresh and tasty (thank you Rosalinda) and the hot food came out hot and wonderful! Steak wasn't cooked as asked too red inside. Then the waiter brought tea but no spoon, creamer or sugar, had to ask him twice to bring them. Then asked him for A1 sauce never got it so had to get up and get one. Last of all asked for a bit more sour cream it took awhile to get. We eat several times a month and have had no problems. Not happy and very disappointed with the quality of food and the waiter especially. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I typically don't do sizzler. I stopped with a few friends while traveling. What I don't like is you've got to order all your meals right when you come in and you're still standing at the counter. And if there's people behind yet and you've never eaten there before you're extremely pressure to just order something and then go sit down. I didn't like that. The portions of my friend's steaks looked awfully small. Small steak and a small potato. My chicken burger was actually pretty good fries were okay. Atmosphere of the place was acceptable. I just don't like the format and the way that they have it set up for ordering food. Sizzler as a chain has been such a special place for us. Thankful one opened back up in the region. A few other restaurants we have gone to recently rely on less than top notch staff. This one obviously has a higher standard and that is why the service was less than perfect. I came here after the Veterans Day Parade and the place was packed but the the food was great and the service good then too. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I'm a picky eater, so I prefer plain on my meals. This place has good food, however I don't think they ever listened to my request. It was obvious when we walked thru the front door that staffing might be an issue as we stood at the counter for a few minutes before someone manned the front counter and greeted us. The woman who helped us told us she doesn't normally work the front counter( she did an awesome job !) Then I noticed the same lady busing tables as well ! I was excited to find another Sizzler's to eat at ,as I've always loved their unlimited salad bar. It's a shame that just like everywhere else there's a lack of employees. My server was Tina Harris. Not only did she go beyond being on top of everything, she made us feel important. She shared in conversation and laughter with my family. All I can say is, the food was damn good. Service was fantastic!!! I stopped there for the nostalgia of my youth. Either my palate is much refined since my youth, or it was always this bad. The steak was very salty, and the barbeque sauce on the ribs was sickening sweet. The server was pleasant but slow... Could have been the kitchen. Regardless, hard pass. Wow I'm thoroughly impressed with my experience here and with my food everything was delicious, went in on 11/18/23 for dinner and sizzlers did not disappoint my gf had steak and I had classic hamburger and we both got salad bar, all the food was perfectly cooked and seasoned with lots of flavor, also the tacos at the salad bar are amazing best tacos I've ever had in my life no cap. Server was very friendly and nice ill definitely be back soon!! Thanks sizzlers for the amazing experience tonight! The restaurant was clean. Bathrooms cleaned and well stocked. The salad bar was good and kept Stocked. The staff was friendly. My severe Tammy was excellent she was the only one on the floor for a good hour and made sure everyone was taking care of. I was truly Impressed! I even gave her a great tip and I'm not a big Tipper. Tammy truly deserves it. Hard working lady right there. If only you we had more Tammy's in this world! She's pretty amazing. Her customer service skills are great. Thank you Tammy for making our night out without the kids great.
