It's a must when visiting Smokey Bones to drink great ice tea or delicious lemonade. Clients don't like draft beer at this place. This spot provides food delivery for the convenience of its customers. The knowledgeable staff welcomes visitors all year round. This bbq is remarkable for its enjoyable service. Based on the reviewers' opinions, prices are democratic. There is a homey atmosphere and nice decor at Smokey Bones. The food was delicious. The cornbread was great. The shrimp and grits were the perfect creaminess and seasoned well. Others at the table had broccoli and baked potatoes that looked great. However the service did not match the food. After waiting forever after our appetizers were delivered, we had to request silverware. She brought us a stack to forks and napkins, for us to pass out to our group of 12. No knives were brought, which we needed. Every glass at the table was dirty (cloudy with spots). Everytime another glass was brought out it came in a new dirty glass. The old glasses were never removed. So by the end of the meal we roughly had 36 glasses on the table. Our server Megan was phenomenal!! I was reading other comments on this place and I have to reiterate what some have said! I don’t know why this place is not busting out the seams!! The atmosphere is amazing. The food came out piping hot! Everything is seasoned to perfection. Megan, recommend some great options for us to try. The fried pickles delicious. The Mag Nachos were amazing. The brisket was wonderful and my boyfriend got the Mushroom Swiss burger and it melted in your mouth!! The wings were fire!! We had the honey hot and spicy garlic buffalo and they were bursting with flavor! Please go and when you do ask for Megan!! A normal easy place to eat, however this is become terrible. The tables are not full however there is an hour wait to be seated. Instead of questioning it I ordered to go, where I waited in line by my self for 30 minutes. No one came, I asked for help and the women said that someone else was supposed to be here. I wasnt helped for another 10 minutes, at which point I should have left. Instead I ordered and waiting for another 50 minutes for my food. I ended up asking why it was taking so long to be seated and to get food, the answer was doordash orders. They were overwhelmed with door dash orders and could not manage business. This mad the employees frustrated and lead them to be rude, their stress was affecting the atmosphere of the whole operation. At this point eating out in this area is only possible at places that value customer service and smooth operation. In my wait I have seen over 30 people turned away from eating due to the hour wait and the ones that didnt leave ordered take out and sat in food purgatory with me. I’ve been here multiple times and the food is usually okay-ish. They have some good deals. Usually you’re waiting about 30 minutes to even get a glass of water (good luck getting a real drink), even when it’s not busy. Most recent experience was even worse than usual. Ordered 2 barbecue pulled pork Mac and cheese bowls with coleslaw as the side - for pick up. Got home and saw they had given us these horrible looking mashed potato and gravy bowls, with corn and pork on top. No sides. Called and they didn’t apologize but said “yeah we gave you the wrong thing.” And said they’d remake it. So we drove back up there and picked up the food. They left out the coleslaw again. Went back in and asked for it and the girl at the counter said they were out but we could wait for the staff to get back from the store. We didn’t have time to wait (it’s 11:30 pm at this point) and she said we could get a different side. Gave us the tiniest portions lol but whatever. After getting home this time, they had STILL messed up the Mac and cheese bowls by putting BAKED BEANS on top. It is your menu, why can’t you make it right?? It was NOT busy at all in the restaurant. My husband and I ordered the Bonefire for 2. It was absolutely delicious!! Our server, Vix, was wonderful! Our drinks, appetizers and food came out quickly without making us feel rushed. We will definitely come again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited this SB while in TDY in Charleston, went with coworkers and the staff was friendly and good customer service. Drinks and food efe served without waiting a lot, fast service. The food was ok, nothing special, but they have reasonable prices.

I had the platter, it included all the meats. This platter is definitely for two people, and i personally enjoyed the variety. I will say they take long to seat you unless you head for the bar and your food takes long to come. Food had zero flavor, bun was beyond stale. Almost like it was all frozen and just thrown on the grill. After a few bites asked for my check and went someplace else. Staff was really nice and took off the food and only made me pay for my drink. This was very nice as I did not asked for anything was just going to pay and leave. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I ordeeed iced tea with lemon and the lemons were so dried out and almost to the mold stage. The bourbon chicken was clearly a frozen breast that tasted watery and rubbery. The fire roasted corn tasted like it was from last week and had been reheated five times. The bathroom was disgusting and the windows and window sills were filthy with dead flies and other black crud I couldn’t identify.
