Overall pleasant restaurant. I d give it a 3.5 stars. Good to visit before going to an event near by. Also good place for a drink as they have a small bar that serves great cocktails.
We enjoyed the appetizers and desserts a lot. Main courses were OK.
Good service, surroundings good except for where we were seated.
I think we would have enjoyed the full experience more, if we were seated at a better table.

For an extraordinary culinary experience coupled with a unique interior from a former slaughterhouse, this is the place to visit. It stands out as one of the most prominent restaurants in Stockholm. The standout items during this lunch were the hummus and pasta, complemented by a diverse selection of quality wines. While the staff was extremely friendly, a touch more professionalism and education could enhance the experience, though that's just a personal preference. Overall, I highly recommend it and plan to return!

Sizzling Red Shell Prawns
Ambiance and the service for sure deserves 5 ⭐️. When it comes to food, the experience in general was really good and worth to visit this restaurant but some details need more attention. We ordered two starters; hummus and crusted squid. Squid dish was good together with its sauce and lemon slice 👍 however, hummus does not taste anything familiar with generic ingredients like chickpea, tahini and garlic, so it lacks the taste. Was not easy to decide on the main dishes, we went for charred chicken and spagetti with prawns. Spagetti was delicious, the way prawns were tasted and spagetti being al dente take the credits!!! maybe a bit too much oily but still fine. However, the chicken dish did not satisfy. Because something that is charred sits inside a sauce does not preserve the charness either visually or as a taste. And the portion was small to be a main dish, we had potato fries additionally been ordered. Potato fries was one of the best we have ever tried in any restaurant. But it should be included with the chicken dish. When it comes to desserts, we ordered tiramisu and sticky toffee puding. Wouv toffee puding was extremely sweet, too much sugar probably comes from caramel sauce, it is hard for one person to eat all. l recommend to balance it with brew coffee which was really good and served in a pot. Tiramisu was quite nice, well balanced compared to toffee puding. The wine menu is rich, cocktails are well prepared ⭐️

I would like to set 4.5 stars but I'm rounding up to 5 as it's more deserving than 4.
The interior, food and atmosphere is amazing at Solen. If you are 4+ people I would recommend to get starters, share a pizza and then a main. The starters could easily be shared across the table so you can try many things out.
The service could be improved though. You will get great recommendations for food and drinks and the service is quick - but don't expect to have someone top up the glasses for you.

Amazing place with a really cozy atmosphere. The set up open and you can have a glimpse at the kitchen and how they prepare the food for you.
We tried a couple of starters, which I highly recommend the foie gras with fried pita. The pizza was amazing and all the desserts are unique.
It’s definitely worth a visit either to have a dinner with friends or a family gathering

Sticky Toffé
Quite a lovely restaurant if it wasn’t for the waitress who was quite rude to several of us at the table starting from the moment we got there’ll continuing for the first hour.
Luckily about half way through the meal we got new waitstaff who were amazing. Quite honestly the worst service we as a group have had in 4 years of my living here until that change.
Food was quite lovely and the interior architecture was spacious and lovely.

By far one of the best restaurants in Stockholm. Unique menu, but flavors across dishes work very well. Loved the Cava recommended to us, and so happy we ordered dessert which was equally delicious. Thank you to the very kind and friendly staff, as service was excellent. Will certainly come back soon. Pro Tip: They are open on Sundays, which is harder to find in Stockholm. However, don’t forget to make a reservation!

I would have said the experience and the food is outstanding, wouldn’t I have been seated to some spoiled Swedish kids. But that’s what happened. Food was still very nice and think it’s one of the better restaurants in the area. The design is quite thoughtful and exceptional, loved the chimney.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with relaxed but yet attentive service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. In total we (four persons) ordered seven dishes to share. All delicious, but the crusted squid and the beef tartar may have been the winners for tonight. We finished our meal with tiramisu, lemon pie and coconut icecream. Desserts were okay, but not as impressive as the main courses.
The atmosphere at Solen is sophisticated and relaxed with a big fire place in the middle of the big room.
Ovrall, we had an exceptional dining experience at Solen. Maybe we were more blown away after visiting Lilla Ego or Animo, but Solen is a great restaurant. We will for sure come back.
