Wow! How did I never hear about this place?! Staff is welcoming and professional, and the food is awesome! I had this amazing chocolate, strawberry latte, which was SO good, I'm actually getting thirsty now thinking about it! I got the Thursday Taco Special, which was excellent, but now I can't wait to go back to try the quiches, croissants and home made soups. I took a loaf of the cranberry walnut bread home, and after my husband ate 3 slices, he asked me to never bring it home again- ha! Now I can't wait to try their chicken salad sandwhich on that bread! Great spot for a simple but unique lunch. The specials are on point and incorporate delectable and fresh ingredients that never disappoint. The staff is always excited to see my parents; who stop in for lunch after their appointments. It is usually the biggest excitement of their day and is fun to hear about “the quiche of the day.” Today was mushrooms with Gouda. I was fortunate enough to make it in today too and got the Summer Turkey special and watermelon and ginger lemonade. Couldn’t have been better.

My husband and I have always loved getting food from Something Special. Recently, they catered baked goods for our mini wedding!!! They have such a wide selection of baked goods so it was easy to get exactly what we wanted. Our guest RAVED about these baked goods. The cinnamon roles were the fan favorite for sure! Everything provided was delicious and beautiful and we cannot wait to order from Something Special again.

Something special is the perfect blend of hole in the wall and hipster joint, but not in a bad way. The food hits on every level, cranberry walnut bread made fresh in the bakery, chicken rice bowls cooked perfectly. Then there’s the fresh baked desserts. So soft and flavorful. If you’re in the mood for fresh food, good portions and reasonable prices, this is your place.

First visit here and definitely coming back. Girlfriend had The "Nicol" which is Roasted Turkey, Apples, Cranberry Mayonnaise spread on Walnut bread. I had the Pretzel Sandwich which is Black Forest Ham, Coopers Cheese, Tomato and lettuce. Both were delicious. Along which breakfast and lunch items the menu includes a variety of coffees, lattes and baked goods. Great service too.

We ordered a cake for a Gender Reveal Zoom Party this year. The staff was responsive and helpful in choosing a cake. It only took one day to drop off our envelope and have the cake ready. They were flexible with setting up the details for the specific needs of the cake. We chose the vanilla cake and caramel frosting. The cake was delicious (especially the frosting). We will definitely order from them again for bakery needs. When we picked up the cake we also tested the apple turnover... another win for sure.
