We went to Fort Scott Sonic. We had received a free drink coupon from corporate. It was for a route 44, but because it didn't have a Fort Scott stamp they wouldn't honor it. Now I understand if we were just ordering the drink, that is a different matter. But we order a medium mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken medium, and chedder poppers medium. What we were buying is costing us more than a unsweetened peach ice tea. Still with us ordering all this food they wouldn't honor the coupon. I didn't realize that a route 44 cost them that much to make. PLEASE!! HOW STUPID ARE THEY!!

Food and wait staff are fine but when spending $15 on breakfast / lunch it's a little bit ridiculous to have to pay extra for a small cup of Buffalo sauce, the locations in Joplin and KC do not charge extra for this and this Fort Scott location is the only location I've ever experienced this extra charge, the reason I'm writing this though is due to the experience recently where the manager chased me out of the parking lot to get her 66 cents when the machine failed to process the transaction, and threatened to take it out of her employees tips had she been unable to track me down. Drinks are wrong 1/2 the time, taste is off. Food tastes old, chili has tasted scorched, vegetables on sandwiches are extremely wilted, bread is stale. Manager/Owner(?) extremely rude. Many of the stalls are broken or employees use them as parking spaces. Takes 30 minutes to get a single drink. I used to love Sonic but I’ve given up and will never eat there again.
