Okay, it's just a Sonic, and I only ordered a shake, but they told me one price and came out with a ticket a third again more than what it should have been. I gave the server a $10.00 and she rushed away, saying thanks? I guess she needed the bigger tip. Oh BTW the snickers in the shake appeared to be weeks old, soggy and stuck together. Had a great experience at this Sonic. Person taking my order was friendly and on point. Young man that delivered my food was friendly and polite. I am super glad the owner added the TIP option on the Menu board. Service workers do deserve that extra bonus. Waited almost an hour and $20 on cold food, just to still have to cook dinner when I got home. Soggy hotdog. Churros with no cinnamon or sugar on them. Onion rings taste stale and are boarder-line burnt.. No marinara sauce with mozzarella sticks. Hilariously bad. Live under 10 minutes away, and will never be back. Expect over a 30 minute wait per car any time of day you go. Understaffing isn’t even an excuse at that point. Enjoy a pic of my pesto pasta I decided to have instead of this garbage. EDIT 4/13/2023: Hey University Blvd, PLEASE do something about worker sanitation. HAIR again in my order -- this time in my beverage! I tip very well, and to receive this quality of food just hurts my feelings. EDIT: They need to improve sanitary food prep. See attached. ORIGINAL: Wow. The customer service. Alisha just introduced herself to me. She actually reads the reviews and we talked for several minutes. I am quite vocal on Google and this business stands out in North Charleston by STANDING UP for what they believe in. They need improvement in some areas, and Alisha acknowledges it. One conversation with her and I am no longer worried. They will figure it all out, and I will keep coming back. Team UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD, keep it up! You guys set an example for North Charleston. First time going to Sonic, and I absolutely loved it. Food was amazing and at a super cheap price. I was a bit confused about the parking lot vs drive through but when the attendant came out with my food he was super understanding and friendly and even grabbed me a cupholder.
