Visitors don't highly appreciate vanilla ice cream at Sonic Drive-In. From the guests' viewpoint, the staff is well-trained here. Despite the popularity among guests, the weak point of this place is its downscale service. A number of reviewers say that the atmosphere is charming here. They don’t prioritize DoorDash orders and when ratings depend on how efficient a restaurant is that is not a good thing. They took more than 5 mins to answer after pushing the red button, mind you the Dasher app tells you to pull up to the car port not drive thru, unless otherwise told by employees. I see drive thru orders being rolled out with car after car leaving. I went ahead and canceled the order which can also affect ratings but it shouldn’t take over 15 mins for a hot dog, fries and 1 milkshake and a drink to be made Ridiculous. Sonic is now on my automatic decline list.

This time going was not great. I pull into one those places where they bring food to your car. Only to be told they doing drive thru only. So I went to drive thru, order my food. When I received my food it was cold. And my cherry limeade didn't taste right. It didn't have cherries or a lime Which nobody likes cold food. It really depends on the day as far as service and food. I ordered ahead for some burgers and after the screen said my order was coming out, I waited 5 minutes with no food. I called through the intercom and they said they were bagging my food. They shouldn't say your order is coming out unless it is on its way out. Then, when I got my food, it looks sad and it wasn't even warm, it was cold! And the cheese wasn't melted at all! They just taste like precooked patties thrown in a burger! How did it take extra time for my order when this was the quality of the food being delivered?! Don’t expect your food to get to you to on time or ever. Did an order ahead on the Sonic App for 8pm, checked in on the app, had to call on the stall TWICE before I got anyone actually answering me. I ordered a water and asked for strawberries and cherries to be added and then for extra because I know from previous orders they barely put any in it. Well it barely had any strawberries at all and not a single cherry. So not only did I pay for them to be put in but also for extra. If I'm paying for something I expect it should be right. There was not a single other customer there when I ordered either. Just ridiculous! I mean come on people. It isn't hard to scoop some fruit into a cup and fill it up with water. Just absolutely pathetic. I'm convinced that it brings joy to these workers to mess people's orders up. No way they are this dumb that they can't read off a screen but who knows.... Went here after a late dinner & movie. Soooooooo glad it was open because nothing else was on the East Side apparently. Was able to get an awesome cookie dough blast & try their RedBull slush, that was GREAT too! Super fast service like always. Love how I can use my app and get extra discounts too! Loving the new “Grilled Cheese Steak and Bacon Sandwich”! There is no toughness in the steak, the sauces are marinated perfectly together, and it’s a very hearty sandwich. The only thing needed to make this a 5-star review is, the buttering of the toast, it’s dry, however, nevertheless, the execution of the idea, is good! Terrible experience! Took the fast straight out of fastfood. Spent literally 40 minutes in the drive thru, trying to get a single combo. When I inquired as what was taking so long, the cook came out of the back and promptly let me know that he was the only one here and doing the best he could and I was just going to have to wait. In the end my food was still wrong and what I had got was cold. The cheese on the burger wasn't even melted. Terrible experience!
