The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The establishment was nice and clean. Great service. The food portion was very generous one plate is enough for two. The flavor was good but I don’t really understand what’s the deal with ordering a $20 plate of food and it being served in plastic and styrofoam to go containers when I am dining in the restaurant. It makes the food get soggy and isn’t as pleasant of a dining experience, especially for the price. Also they charge for water cups. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30

For the tightness of the space, they really deliver big family restaurant. My Sista Lee meal, wasn’t incredible and very basic. But my family got the “red velvet”, and love it. They raved about the chicken wings and the waffles being so good that they didn’t have to add syrup. The atmosphere is tight but very comfortable, clean, and with good jazz. I got the red velvet waffles breakfast, and I'm very pleased with how delicious the food is, and also they serve a lot of food. It's worth it! The customer service is incredible. Our server this morning was so pleasant, helpful, and attentive. She made our visit a memorable one. Great cooks too! Thank you all for an amazing breakfast! 100% Recommended! The BEST Breakfast I ever had. And they serve it all day.. Customer Service is outstanding, fast & friendly. cozy comfortable environment . Reasonable prices. Ambiance: It's fairly simple inside, decent amount of seats, but they still had a bit of a wait. Pretty good playlist over the speaker, not too loud so you're able to hear each other. Service: Security was all hands in, loved that lol. Waiters were really friendly and helpful with the menu. Told us before we ordered what they were out of, so there were no surprises. Food came out hot and fairly quick, considering they had a full house. Food: If they still have spaghetti when you're there, I highly suggest you get it. It was extremely flavorful without overdoing it. My only complaint is that the noodle to meat sauce was slightly off. I ended up with a good amount of sauce left over. The wings were fried perfectly and tasted great. Turkey chops were very good as well... on the fence about the Mac and cheese, but overall, not bad at all. Street metered parking until 6pm. I am a soul food snov and this restaurant HITS in regards to taste, quality and quantity! The portions are perfect, the seasoning is AS IT SHOULD BE and the quality is high! Food is pretty good prices are better than average but there is a traded off. There is no table service and all food is served in Styrofoam to go containers with plastic utensils. The chairs are very in comfortable. Id say it's more of a to go spot although the decor and plethora of tvs are nice. It would be nice if there was a least one TV on the opposite wall so that not only people on one side can see them. The food was good nothing special although the waffles were a little disappointing.
