For starters, I’m not sure if he was the owner or what but he was very friendly and personable. He offered samples of the chicken fingers and fish wish were very well seasoned and fresh. I would love to give more stars however but this is what I’m going with today for these reasons. The food was pretty decent. I waited a long time for one piece of fish, and then was given the wrong side (Mac n cheese) when I only wanted black eyed peas and Brussels sprouts. I did taste the Mac n cheese and wasn’t impressed whatever, but that’s because I feel it needed more cheese and less sauce if that makes sense. Everything else was pretty darn good though and I would recommend this place to anyone that’s visiting the area.

All of the employees was amazing, and gave us a warm welcoming. It was my 1st time eating here and they let us sample the chicken tenders, potato salad, Meatloaf and Salisbury which was da bomb. After sampling I actually chose the Salisbury with the rice and cabbage 😋 I loved my meal and so did my son. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in the area. The food is fantastic southern cooking. I love the cube steak, pork chops, meatloaf, and all the sides! The guys that own and work there are awesome too! They are always courteous, friendly, energetic, and did I mention friendly?!? This restaurant has given me a reason to look forward to visiting the tag office at Eastridge Mall. Just give the tag office your phone number, then try some samples and pick your lunch. It's guaranteed to be an enjoyable experience. The food here was delicious. Everything was fresh. I had the fish, fried green tomatoes, and mashed potatoes. The food speaks for itself honestly but the service though. The service was impeccable. I haven’t been anywhere that I have generally enjoyed eating this much in a while. The guy who took our order was so friendly and outgoing. I felt like I knew him all my life. It was a great experience. I’m blessed to have tried eating here.

The man who took my order was very friendly and professional. Had the chicken, fish, and porkchop sandwiches. They were all wonderfully delicious. Put the hot sauce on each and oh my goodness they were amazing. Will be making the trip from Newton to eat here again regularly. The owner is great and has the most wonderful aditude. Friendly, kind, and courteous from start to finish!
