If you like sports bars you'll like this one. Good place for a quiet drink with down-to-earth people and a place to get away from the in-crowd.

Was only there for around an hour but what i experienced was good friendly small city type of friendliness. Had about a dozen patrons enjoying their weekend beer etc.

Pretty drunk so don't remember much but awesone bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. Mean if u like horses and gambling. ;)

Nice cozy little bar on victoria ave with good beers. Had a good crowd of people. More of an older crowd with the only people under 30 being us, but that's quite characteristic of Whanganui as a whole.
