Came here to chill out with my buddy. First off, the service is awesome! When I mentioned I'd skip drinks due to a slight cough, the waitress recommended trying hot water with lemon, which I think helped me a lot! Coming to the food, the wings were decent, and my buddy loved his 3 pepper bomb burger. However, the sandwiches were horrible. I ordered the Blackened Salmon, which tasted very bad. I couldn't tell why, so I mentioned it to the waitress. Burgers are good, really good. Interesting flavors and fusions. Fries were good, nothing spectacular but solid. Calamari starter was amazing. Brussels sprouts not so much. Shakes are really good, definitely a highlight. Update Burgers are still awesome. We tried the Nashville chicken and wow, might be the best thing they make. It was so tasty. We were able to get a seat at the bar fairly quick, arriving around 7pm. Our server was friendly and gave great recommendations on the menu. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the food. The burger was alright. The fries were completely dry. I should’ve just asked for chips. The truffle oyster mushrooms were overdone as well and the pieces we got were the smallest. Some of them were just fried batter bits. I normally get the truffle oyster mushrooms at other stack locations so I have a good idea on the serving size. This Stack location had the worst food quality of the other 2 locations we’ve tried. Save your money and go elsewhere. UPDATE Can't thank enough Stack 571 staff who saved us on the night of December 31! We had our order cancelled from another restaurant on DoorDash, and they prepared a Cambozola Pear with regular fries and The 571 with beyond burger plus waffle fries. Everything was so delicious!! - - - Their burgers and shakes are surprisingly authentic and tasty! You can also subs meat patty for either chicken or vegan patty. Great selection of burgers with delicious waffle fries. You can even jazz your waffle fries up by choosing parmesean truffle style (recommend!). Happy hour from 3p to 6p & 9p to close. Also, for those with a sweet-tooth, the boozy milkshakes are heavenly. You can also order them without alcohol. Gave a 4/5 because service was pretty spotty. I'll be back! Industrial rustic spot for interesting fusion American food. I found the atmosphere lively and fun. They had a Great Wall of liquor with a fun library sliding ladder. Parking is alright, either have to park on the street or in the mall and walk over. It can be very busy in the totem lake mall regardless of day. Our server was friendly and helpful considering it was our first time. Although presented appetizingly, my significant other and I found our burgers to be either too intense (too salty) or lackluster in flavor. The fries were okay. The one thing I’d NOT recommend is the buffalo calamari. It is RUBBERY and tasted off putting. We really wanted to like the place because of where it was located and how the place looked and what they were offering. It’s unlikely we’ll come back for the burgers, but we would definitely come back for the milkshakes. They were delightful because it was thick and the flavors offered were yummy. I chose Stacks for my birthday with friends. Our waitress was so delightful and playful. She let us know the reason for the delay and helped us make excellent choices on food and beverages. My friends are foodies and very satisfied with everything we had. I had the Stack 571 slider, the pork slider and the brussel sprouts. All were delicious but the pork slider was my favorite. I wasn't sure what to expect because I've never heard or read anything about this place. I don't like whiskey, but this place has an amazing selection of whiskey. They do flights of whiskey. My burger with slaw was a little spicy, but it was delicious. The wife got a FISH SANDWICH and loved it. My kid got a grilled cheese and didn't eat it, so I did, and it was good. They give ice cream with lucky charm Marshmallows with the kids' meals, my kid didn't eat her dinner so I ate it and it was soo good.. Definitely recommend this place. Stopped here to grab a bite with a friend before wandering the shops. We had a hard time deciding what we wanted because everything sounded so good. We ended up starting with the jacked up Gorgonzola waffle fries (must have!), my friend got a sagey-margarita drink which she really enjoyed, and I got a blood orange vodka cocktail which I found to taste like vodka with a splash of blood orange flavoring (I don’t recommend this one). We both ordered burgers which were excellent. I can’t remember what she got but I got the burger dip and from the bun, to the grilled onions, to the patty and cheese, it was delicious. Our server was amazing, she was attentive without being overbearing. She made some good recommendations and answered our questions. The space is open, so I can imagine when it’s packed it can get pretty loud, but they had a nice outdoor seating area which I’m sure is super popular in the summer months. Overall great burger joint!
