Cool latin bar. It's a bar so don't expect it to be %100 clean all the time. Drinks are crazy expensive but that's expected. Especially for the area. 1 shot was $15. Parking is $20 across the street and 30-40 at the parking directly next to it. Despite all of these outrageous prices the vibe is still there. Definitely a place you want to pregame before hitting. Upstairs is pretty cool you get a nice view of downtown. Will still come back again. Didn't get to try the food so will update once I do..
Update. Shots are supposed to be $3. Came out to $107 for 6 shots. Was told they were out of well shots til AFTER they were poured. They know what they're doing. Just be mindful of this

I came here with my friends for Sunday funday and we had a blast! Not only was the food top tier, but the staff made us all feel welcomed and were very attentive. There’s honestly really nothing like this place in Houston. They did random shot specials throughout the night so it’s definitely a place you can come and have a good time with a large group of friends. All the bartenders were so nice and on point. We will be back, it was definitely a vibe!

Had a fantastic time at Standard Bar in downtown Houston! The atmosphere was on point, thanks to the exceptional management/Manager Alvaro. The place had a great vibe, and the music by down/upstairs Djs was top-notch. Shout out to #heavyweightmusik for the invite. The food was great! Good price on the Mimosa Carafes on Sundays. The music was a mix of 2000’s- now rap and R & B. We went for brunch and stayed a little longer than expected.

The standard bar has the best view and vibes in Houston! Can’t wait to go back, they’re always having different themed nights so much fun. Definitely have to see this new spot!

Standard Bar has become by far MY FAVORITE BAR IN HOUSTON! The vibes are exactly what I was looking for! The Music, The food, The drinks, & The service was AMAZING! They played the best Variety of Latin music! 10/10 recommend

The New Standard Bar is the place to be. I remember having a lot of fun at the old standard bar and the environment was always good, but this New Standard Bar is on Steroids in every level, service is amazing, the cocktails, the bartenders, security, barbacks, management and owners are very welcoming and are committed to give you the best Latin nightlife experience in the city of Houston. Did I mentioned the HUGE rooftop with an amazing view to the downtown buildings!! 😁😁
The music is definitely a vibe, Djs know how to get the party going. The new Standard is one entrance, 3 different parties as it has a dj inside one in the patio area and one in la terraza (Roof top) in other words every where you walk in the establishment you will be partying for sure 🕺 💃
The food is very flavorful 🌮🍤🍝🌯🥪 and the bartenders will fix you some nice drinks at an affordable price. Also very important at this new location there’s a lot more parking space than the old one and that’s definitely a plus 💪🏻💪🏻
