They opened two weeks ago (Sept 15th 2023), and they are BUSY! They handled it really well. I was please with the service and speed. They made our drinks to perfection. The store and bathroom are really clean and nice - still smells brand new. There’s too many chairs to walk through the sitting area, but I’m sure they will work that out. Listen these are new baristas and a brand new location, yeah they were out of a lot of items but if they aren’t getting deliveries there’s nothing that can be done except apologize and recommend something else. Things are going to get better but give them time to actually learn all the drinks Starbucks has because there is a lot of them. They’ll always give you a smile and be friendly, and if your drink is wrong just ask and they are more than willing to correct the issue right then with zero objection. They’re very slow when it comes to taking the order, as well as giving it out, got a grande hot chocolate an it is gross taste like straight water. Since when does Starbucks make hot chocolate with water? It has always been made with milk. Need to teach them how to make the drinks had to throw my whole $4 drink away. I see the comments say they just opened an give them time to learn the drinks, I’m all for that but all you have to do is download the Starbucks app go to each drink, an it will tell you what each drink has in it how hard is that? This is a newly opened Starbucks. So you have those who don't know how to do basic things, like loading money on your card. So they berate me for not having a credit card tied to the app. so i can do it myself, and then give excuses and walk away. Please take a sip of your drink before walking away. Mine tasted burnt for some reason. And when they open the drive thru window and it's windy, your going to feel it clear inside the store. This is a new store and this review is because of a specific employee. I went into the lobby because the drive through wasn't moving. I saw 3 people working and inquired if anyone was working drive through or if I needed to order inside. The lady at the counter very nastily informed me that store had only been open a week and that the kid at drive through was brand new. All after observing her chatting it up with a man while I waited. I finally ordered and my order was deliberately done wrong because I was asking about drive through. My coffee was nothing but espresso and was undrinkable. As a manager of this Starbucks, she should have been WAY more professional and provided better customer service. At the very least, she should have been helping her employees catch up instead of standing around and talking. I will gladly change this review if something is done about this woman's ridiculous behavior.
I visited the store today and ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino! I experienced the most excellent customer service from the drive-through worker, her name is Julie! She did an excellent job doing what she needed to and she also provided time efficient service! I greatly appreciate the amazing service I was given today! Listen, they are trying. The fact that they are new in town, and probably busiest shop in town, lots of pressure, they are messing up I understand ! But being nice to people is a choice! Although the did missed up my venti latte, and fixed in couple of minutes! Nothing to complain! be nice to people! Pretty sure they will rock in a few months Service: 5
Do not stop here! Was driving through Rawlins and placed a pickup order through the Starbucks App 10 minutes prior to arrival. When we arrived, the lobby was closed and we had to wait nearly 30 minutes in the drive through line to get our order. Coffee was not even hot by the time we were able to pick it up. Would never have waited in the line if we had not already paid via the App and will never stop here again.
Starbucks has always been known for their personable guest service. Not this one.I applied for assistant manager. I went into the establishment so the gm could put a face to my application and introduce my self. Long story short she kept her back to me and had an employee tell me to come back later and when I asked what time they couldn't specify meanwhile the gm was listening and could not turn her back to say a word to me. Also the employees seemed frustrated and lost....I remember when every restaurant use to look up to the exceptional customer service Starbucks would offer. You would think you just opened there would be some love and care... Also if you don't like your job just find your new happy place. No one is forcing you to be there. I don’t like not giving stars but there definitely needs to be some better training. I understand this is a new Starbucks but they need to pick it up and do better. Long wait time which is not abnormal considering rush hour, but it was because the woman taking the order was turtle slow and seemed to have difficulty understanding? If so, that’s fine, but someone else needed to be right there with her. Barista’s - pick it up. As a barista myself, you’re going to have to learn to pick up the pace in order to better serve efficiently. I placed two orders and BOTH were incorrect. I didn’t say anything, considering the long lines but I was pretty disappointed after being on the road for so long and in dire need of a Starbucks.
