I came in not too long ago and the purple haired girl (ryn/rin/ren?) Helped me pick out a fantastic drink, some kind of chai. She made me and everyone behind me laugh the whole time and made a good trip turn great, fantastic service and the people she was working with seemed really happy. I came back today and I don't think she was here but It reminded me to write this. I don’t often go to Starbucks, but this is my new favorite. Not one of the many staff looked or acted happy. It appears everyone hates their jobs and the customers. After a long wait at the register where all the workers studiously avoided looking at me, even to say “someone will be with you in a moment “ a worker did come and ask what I wanted, no smile, nothing. The wait for the drink was not bad and the drink itself was good but I felt as if I was at a funeral parlor. I love to Starbucks because I can order on my app and by the time I get to the store it’s sitting on the counter waiting for me. I don’t typically have a lot of interaction with the staff and I don’t eat the food here. The only time I come to Starbucks is when the pumpkin spice lattes are out! Drinks are fine. Cashier not friendly but not rude. Barista felt it necessary to make a snooty comment to the cashier in front of me about my ordering a water add strawberries for my young daughter who just happens to only like water with strawberries. I would have happily paid the price of a tea for the same thing. I wasn’t trying to pull anything over on Starbucks. I ordered what my daughter wanted and it’s not on me if she didn’t ring it up a certain way.
