Robin helped us today in Stewart’s ❤️ me and my friends love her so much! She made my friend a strawberry milkshake with whipped cream that was very good. She also made my other friends ice cream scoops and another milk shake that were all good. My favorite thing about her though, was that when she heard my one friend was interested in one of the flavors, she handed us a sample without even asking!! She is so sweet I love her so much! She deserves a good raise!❤️❤️🍦🍦🍨
What happened to my wonderful, friendly neighborhood Stewart's? Up until about 5 or 6 months ago this was such a nice little neighborhood store. The staff was friendly and actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs.
The staff that is there now are not friendly at all and look like they are absolutely miserable. Most of the time there are two employees and ultimately one of them is always in the back. The line is always long and if I happen to be able to ask the other employee to ring me out they get an attitude like I am bothering them. Tonight I left the items I was going to purchase on the counter and left. I don't think I'm ever going to this store again.
I've been going here for more than 5 years. Up until about a year ago, the crew here had been top-notch, friendly, attentive, and frankly enjoyable to be around. It has always been my default convenience shop.
Unfortunately, one terrible staff member tonight went out of her way to make sure I never go back. I pulled two ice cream bars out of the freezer, and when I went to cash out, me and the cashier realized they didn't have barcodes to scan. Immediately, some boisterous, obnoxious woman came flying over and said to the cashier, loud enough for the 10+ other customers there to hear, "Oh, he (me) opened the box to try to get just these," then looked at me and said "you can't do that, sir," again loud enough for everyone to hear. The worst part is the school-teacher-style scolding she wanted to give me about it, telling me to follow her to the freezer so she could show me exactly what I did wrong (what she thinks I did wrong) while no fewer than 5 people were enjoying the show. Needless to say, I left without buying anything. And no, I did not open any boxes (not even entirely sure what shexs talking about).
I'm less upset about the accusation, and much more upset about the public shaming this customer-service-illiterate, belligerent, impolite, tactless loud-mouth who wanted to turn me into a spectacle. If you actually see someone stealing, I understand saying something... short of that single scenario, give the customer the benefit of the doubt. You're not the police, and you do not lecture other adults in public, just like I would never do that to you or anyone else. Get her into serious customer service training before she sends this store's customers running to any one of the dozens of other shops in that area.
Stewart's, you are marginally better than the average shop; if you allow staffing standards to drop this low, you will lose business. Milkshakes and "special" ice cream are not worth such nasty experiences.
Come here regularly, sometimes 3x a day - both morning and night shift employees are AWESOME. Good people, good Stewart's, good iced coffee. Much yes. Edit: you will definitely see me again. Was there this morning, am about to head over again before work. I may have a problem. Love you, Stewart's <3
Haveing great time thank you Stewart's corporate donated to employees gift card for taken for he covid vaccines . I enjoy two pints ice cream and 1/2 gallon milk.
Literally about 24 feet from my bedroom. I like convenience. Ice cream is awesome..in February, 9 degree weather..Death By Chocolate...Blueberry Pie In The Sky...2 faves! Thanks.
Service in the morning here is awful...20 people...1 person working (the other person never omes out to help) been this way consistently since sept 1st...no eggwhiches ever made. This stewarts is an exercise in lazyness...pathetic!!!
