We had a couple drinks at Sun Dog Café, in Mongoose Junction (1/3/24). Great drinks, great service. Definitely a place to start your Cruz Bay evening on the right foot! stopped here once for breakfast and once for lunch this week. both meals were great. menu has good diversity and staff very good. Decent price by Saint John standards. Outdoor seating with umbrellas that gave decent shade. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our group of 8 had brunch here and it was wonderful. Tables were first come, first serve and was easy to get 2 tables. I recommend the breakfast burrito, we will be back. Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stop by Sun Café for breakfast we’re so glad you did. So charming spot we can find. At least early in the morning. I had the smoked salmon Benedict, which is absolutely perfect start of the day. The flavors were a symphony in my mouth. Even the potatoes which don’t generally like, were very well done sautéed ingredients that made them quite delicious. Barbie was our server and I think she needed rollerskates serving all of the tables but somehow she was able to attend to everyone’s needs to perfection. Our group of 6 had brunch today. Everything was incredible, I had the eggs Benedict w/ extra bacon. Eggs were cooked perfectly and served with yummy breakfast potatoes. Highly recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have been here twice, each on two different vacations. The food is good, my only complaint is that they run out of certain dishes. But what they do have in stock is good, it just may be your second choice entree.

We loved this place. It has been part of St. John for many years - but so easily overlooked due to it's location. One of the top two breakfast spots in St John. Lunch is awesome as well, and then the drinks available are great. The location is not easily visible but the seating is very comfortable, the always seems to be a nice breeze and the service was welcoming and well done. THANKS for awesome food and experience.
