If you prefer Italian cuisine, then this restaurant is worth checking out. Nothing can be better than trying good garlic cheese bread, mussels and ragout. The chef at Sunday Gravy cooks tasty cheesecakes, panna cotta and fruitcake. A lot of visitors order delicious prosecco, beer or house wine. Food delivery is an important advantage of this place. If you look through the guests' reviews, employees are friendly at this spot. This restaurant is known for its calm ambiance. 4.5 is what Sunday Gravy received from the Google rating system.

Very cozy cutely decorated intimate date or friend spot. No reservations, just walk in. We had no trouble at 6pm. We parked on the street in the neighborhoods bc their dedicated lot is a bit tight. I love that this restaurant brings fancier Italian to an area that traditionally doesn’t have many of those kinda options. Reasonably priced. Wine selection is decent, prefer they serve the wine in wine glasses or at least stemless wine glasses (felt cheap in the water cups). Loved the mozzarella sticks, should go on the permanent menu. Caesar salad is good, needs shaved parm on top. Bread pudding, delicious. The Hawaiian bread does the job but a homemade brioche or muffin there would definitely elevate it. Felt Sandra Lee semi-homemade. As for the spaghetti and meatballs, well cooked, but visually would improve with the addition of a third meatball, fresh herbs, and some spice in the red sauce. Love that they have shrimp as an add-on. The pastas tasted fresh and had good al dente bite. Would recommend the Al Limone pasta. Would be back to try their other menu items when I’m back in the area. Probably the short rib ragú. This place was recommended by a friend because we were going to a concert at the Forum and it was pretty close to the venue. I called for a reservation the day before and left a message but I never got a response back.... this spot is a very small Italian restaurant with only about 10 tables. we were told it would be about 20 minutes but we waited about 45 minutes for a table. The parking lot holds 7 cars or so and you have to back up to get out because there is only one entrance/exit and it is one car wide. By the time we sat down we figured this would be the last time we would come here but the food surprised us. I got the chicken parm sandwhich and my wife had spaghetti and Meatballs. we shared a strawberry and burrata salad and it was all very good. many people came through for pickup orders while we waited and clearly it is very popular. if you are in the neighborhood, I suggest you try it but the wait and parking issue may make you want to find another spot if you don't want to deal with that. This place is so cute! I loved the atmosphere, decorations, and friendliness of the staff. We had no trouble finding parking or getting seated. Our food came out quick and was delicious. The star of the show was definitely the shrimp. I’d recommend the milanesa as well. LOVE. THIS. SPOT. Would be an excellent date spot with delicious food, reasonable pricing, and a small intimate setting. The vodka pasta is my favorite. Their bread pudding dessert is delicious! Kind staff and small parking area right by the restaurant along with street parking nearby. Sunday Gravy, nestled in the heart of Inglewood, is a treasure trove of Italian culinary delights, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation in every dish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, offering a comforting embrace from the hustle and bustle outside. My standout favorite for dessert is undoubtedly their Bread Pudding, a dance of textures and flavors that is both rich and comforting. It’s a symphony of sweetness that sings of culinary mastery, making it a must-try for every guest. Equally notable is their Pasta a la Vodka, a creamy, tomato-infused masterpiece that showcases the essence of Italian cuisine, with each bite brimming with robust flavors and tender pasta. The dishes are a true testament to the impeccable quality and freshness of the ingredients used, creating a seamless blend of tastes that transport you straight to the heart of Italy. The attentive and knowledgeable staff augment the dining experience, providing insightful recommendations and ensuring every need is met with a smile. For those seeking an authentic and enriching Italian dining experience complemented by exquisite flavors and exceptional service, Sunday Gravy stands as an unparalleled choice. It’s a journey through the essence of Italian cuisine, making it a well-deserving recipient of five glowing stars! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.. oh man.. why did we order food from here again? Stay away...! Be ready to spend $35-50 per person for a full meal (or starve). And bring patience, service staff is always grouchy and moody. So you are a guest in their house kinda attitude (which I am okay with if you have the food to back it up)... Food is NOT as pictured in their menu and it's mediocre at best. Flavors are okay... but it's Olive Garden level... but priced as if it were located on the Santa Monica Pier: - portions are frustratingly small (order more than one dish or be ready for second dinner) - cheesy bread is nine dollars! - meatballs are good size, but everything has the same sauce... - lasagna was my favorite, but I got maybe three bites out of it because I had to share it with my family - their cacio e pepe is mostly a LOT of "pepe"... so much so that they are proud that its excess black pepper makes it painfully spicy masking the flavor for anything else... why bother...? The dining room is very "cozy" and the outside tables are dangerously close to being hit by a car... the outside seating might be okay if it were for the driveway... Finally... our "ragù" was just that.. the sauce... image that.. I ordered a ragu pasta to take home.. and got just the sauce... no pasta... for $18.65!?!??! Is that some kind of sick joke? It's not even that great... There aren't any decent Italian eateries in this area... and this place doesn't change that.... This Alfredo is probably one of the worst I’ve ever had lol. Could make this at home. Cheese garlic bread w tomato sauce was the best thing here, amatriciana was okay. Nobody told us it was self service when we got in, nobody also bothered to tell us so we just sat waiting when we could’ve just gone up to order. Service was absolutely horrendous, 4 people working the floor yet they all just sort of stand around. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but the Alfredo was shockingly bad and I can’t believe I paid $15+ for it. I won’t be coming back!! Atmosphere is cute and decorations are cute though. Best to walk here or uber. Easier to park on the street than the lot. You can smell how good the food is from the parking lot. Order at the register and they bring food to your table. Great wine selection and great service. Everything was super fresh, honest flavors and I felt like the cooks loved me. Strawberry arugula balsamic salad, taste like summer. Cheese garlic bread is ridiculous. Short rib ragu like when Nona was being fancy and Cacio peppe gnocchi that was perfectly tender. Perfect portion size left me wanting more but not hungry. I loved every bite and am obsessed. Service Dine in
This place is nothing spectacular. We went on a Wednesday and it was pretty crowded. We ordered garlic fries but they didn’t have any garlic on them. They got us new ones pretty quickly though. The Alfredo and the A La Vodka were pretty good but the portions are quite small for the price and the pasta isn’t fresh. The staff was nice but overwhelmed. It’s also pretty noisy and overstimulating.
