I said hello on arrival and the two staff didn’t respond. The view is awesome. I had a beer for 4500 which is 2000 next to my hotel. The views are awesome particularly from the lower level which is not open right now. I feel the summary should be “need to try harder” particularly as there are so few tourists. Very nice spot to view the river and enjoy some local food. Setup for tourist, but clean and tidy with great views of the river. The drinks are good and the food is a great way to experience local flavours in a tourist friendly environment. Restrooms are clean. We went as part of a tour group - and there are a few going through the place - but you can easily turn up on your own and enjoy a very good meal at very reasonable prices.

The Sunset Garden is one of the best restaurants in Bagan, situated at the Ayarwaddy River bank near New Bagan. The guests can see very beautiful sunset from the tables of that restaurant. The restaurants is set up in local style but it is an attraction for international tourists. Normally it is busy with tourists in the high season. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We can't rate the food but it's the perfect place to sip a beer, a juice or a cocktail watching the sunset, they have a huge terrass with the perfect view towards the river. It's a nice alternative from the crowded spots where groups of tourists sit in the dirt loudly commenting the view to each others in their respective languages.

Great place to see sunset with nice ambience but food is very average and expensive. Would highly recommend to go see sunset on Irrawaddy river and have drinks. There are better dining places in New Bagan

Fantastic place. Down a small dirt road - entrance a little odd, but the venue is really great once you get there. Very clean and very friendly. Good food and good service. Unbeatable view of the river and surroundings. Highly recommendable. Meal type Lunch Price per person K 5,000–10,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view. Would have been the best spot to go to a few years ago, but now there are lots of similar restaurants popping up along the river bank! The prices are reasonable, but pricey compared to some other nice restaurants in Bagan. You pay for the lovely view!

This place has a nice view over the river. But do know that it is the place where all the tourist busses seem to stop. So after a while it felt as if i was back at school having lunch. Lot of noise from the people talking and walking around to go take pictures. The food is normal. Not better than the average place along rhe road. But 3-4 times as expensive.
