We stayed here for two nights and the rooms are clean and have a nice hot shower which we really enjoyed in a chilly Kisoro. The staff is friendly and doing their best and the food is also okay, I particularly enjoyed the local foods. It's a budget place, so don't expect too much, but all in all it was a good experience. Their rates at 35k per night are fair, however I would reconsider charging two people in one room the double amount per night because apart from using some more water and washing an additional towel there are no additional expenses on the side of the guesthouse.
During my recent trip to Kisoro, I stumbled upon Supa's Bistro, and it turned out to be the perfect place for me to sit down, work on my laptop, and grab a bite to eat. The restaurant offered exactly what I was looking for – a cosy ambiance with comfortable seating, conveniently equipped with sockets and tables.||The waitresses at Supa's Bistro impressed me with their humble and pleasant attitude. They were attentive, making sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. Their warm hospitality added a nice touch to my overall experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere for me to focus on my work.||As for the food, while it may not have reached the level of excellence, I found it to be more than satisfactory. The menu offered a decent variety of dishes, and I enjoyed my meals during my visits. The flavours were pleasant, and the portions were reasonably sized. It's worth noting that Supa's Bistro is not a high-end gourmet restaurant, but rather a comfortable eatery where you can grab a satisfying meal.||The highlight for me was undoubtedly the atmosphere and the amenities provided for working. The availability of sockets and tables made it incredibly convenient for me to plug in my laptop and get my tasks done. The pleasant environment helped me maintain focus and productivity, and I appreciated having a dedicated space for work.||All in all, Supa's Bistro in Kisoro left a positive impression on me. The humble and pleasant attitude of the waitresses, coupled with the comfortable seating and work-friendly facilities, made it a great choice for my needs. Although the food was not exceptional, it was still enjoyable enough to make me consider dining here again in the future.||If you're in search of a place to work or simply relax while grabbing a bite to eat in Kisoro, Supa's Bistro could be a suitable option. Just keep in mind that it's more about the overall experience and convenience rather than exquisite culinary delights.
She was a great host, everything was clean, water was hot, food was good. For the price, it’s very reasonable. It’s hard to find clean, simple quality in Uganda for a decent price. It’s a gem. 💓
I stayed three nights in a single room with bathroom at this guesthouse in Kisoro. It's run by three Ugandan women that were very helpful and friendly. Accommodation was very clean, the bathroom with a decent water pressure and hot water :). Food was good, for both western and local dishes! I dare to say it's the best option to stay in Kisoro.
We stayed here for a night before our Gorilla Trekking at Mgahinga. For this experience it is a great location and takes only 35 minutes to the gate (if you don't go to the wrong one, which we did! Call ahead folks).||||The rooms were comfortable and for the price quite reasonable. The bar/restaurant was busy the whole time we were there which is a welcome change to the usual skeleton left behind by Corona. Most drinks here are warm but we asked in advance and we were saved a couple cold Clubs. ||||Food wasn't the best but did match expectations. ||||Would recommend this to anybody staying on a budget.
It's a super nice little hotel in the middle of Kisoro with a quiet courtyard. The rooms are very clean, there's hot water and the beds are super comfortable. All for the very fair price of 10$, perfect for Backpackers and budget travelers. The owner is an amazing woman and her daughter is the cutest, already a little hotel manager herself!|Supermarket, banks, bus station, everything is in walking distance, as well as a bike rental to discover the area - go around Lake Mutanda, it's a great tour!|I liked it so much, I stayed here twice and can highly recommend this little gem.
I have eaten several meals at Supa's Bistro over the last month and stopped in for a cool beverage more then once. The food has been very good to excellent on every occasion. The owner, Patra, makes her guests feel welcomed and is very attentive and engaging. I look forward to a return visit in the near future
SuPa’s is my regular coffee stop in Kisoro! In my opinion, they make the best coffee in town - as long as the electricity is on! They also have ice-cold sodas and beers and a small but tasty menu. It’s clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly! Visitors who have stayed in the accommodation have always given good reports. |I’m in two minds about writing this review....this quiet, friendly hide-away deserves to be better known but I hope it doesn’t become overrun by visitors and lose its charm!
We arrived late at night in Kisoro and were grateful to find such a wonderful place to stay. The food was fantastic, the rooms clean, and the staff incredibly kind and helpful. Whether for a coffee, a meal, or a stay in Kisoro, I can't recommend this place enough!
