I visited Malelane once on my way to the Kruger and the one thing I could not stop talking about was the Spar. I come from Pretoria and we are familiar to big shops. But this spar was the biggest and best spar I have been to. The variety is next level and the amount of tills are insane. The manager stood at the door and was hands on by getting all the trollies in line to be picture perfect. Did I mention this spar has its own baby department with all you can think of baby items. It is MASSIVE We are busy planning another long weekend holiday and we try to plan accordingly and get some accommodation around Malelane just to be able to visit that spar again Thanks Spar for making our holiday great

We were shopping here and had left our shopping cart unattended for one minute to add an item. During this minute a 'genius' working for this shop moved the cart far away, so we couldn't find it anymore, and proceeded to offload the cart. After some minutes, I fortunately spotted the person with our cart, and I asked him to put back the items that he had taken out of it, which he started to do painfully slow. He then told me he had only taken two items out of it, which turned out to be untrue. Guess what he also had taken from the cart without telling or putting back; the bottled water (tap water in the area is not safe to drink).

Shocking poor service. My first and last visit there. I am not sure how to reply. But we were two customers waiting to be served, and the cashiers did a shift change. Out of frustration, and with only two items, I went to the cigarette counter. The cashier was not busy, but still had the gore to send me away without serving me.
