Best Japanese and Korean food I ever tried! Portions are great and prices are reasonable. The waitress was great and very attentive. They algo give you complementary soup, chips and tea (I went for dinner). If you go there, try the mango sushi and the Korean beef, they are delicious!

Also, I was so excited to eat their takoyaki that I forgot how hot it can be. This time I tried their house salad and it's now become one of my favorites dishes they have. 🤩😍

Sushi Hiro has reopened after a temporary closure. I noticed they are now offering Korean fried chicken, so ordered some along with some sushi rolls.
The Korean Fried Chicken: it's very good! It has that required extra crispy crunch, and the hot/sweet sauce was delicious. This may be my favorite Korean fried chicken in the state.
The sushi rolls: Also very good! I've had sushi here before, and happy to report they're just as good after the temporary closure: flavorful with nice chunks of fish.
A note on the service: when the restaurant opened they hadn't made their sushi rice yet, so there was a slight delay in getting the rolls out to us. In fairnessz the staff mentioned this in advance, apologized and offered free miso soup for the delay. The delay wasn't even that bad, and I thought they handled it well. Service overall was excellent

First time visiting was great. Received welcoming and friendly service from staff. Atmosphere felt lively yet comfortable. Ordered two sushi rolls (Dragon & Seattle) along with a house box. Price to quality ratio felt equal - the freshness and flavors of the dishes were exceptional. Will be visiting again.

It was one of the few places that were open late at night on Tuesday (01/23). They had a few vegetarian options, while the appetizer I was curious about wasn't. The waitress said she would check with the kitchen to see if they could do a substitution since they weren't busy but couldn't guarantee the quality of substituting with tofu. The kitchen did an amazing job - we ended up ordering two rounds! Everything we ordered tasted amazing, and the service was wonderful.
We will definitely be back!

I would take away 0.1 star For the complimentary chips that were clearly fried in an old oil. Besides that, the food was exceptional, portions more than decent, staff was really intentional and caring in relationship to the customers. They did great with accommodations for my 8months old baby, which is always a challenge in sushi places. Also, the whole place was sparkling clean at the time of our visit.

First of all, this place has no complaints from me, just compliments. Me and my family went her to celebrate my birthday once and it was fantastic. The staff were very nice and patient. The food was amazing and simple to understand how to eat. (It’s sushi) The only thing that doesn’t make this a full 5-5-5 is the service and atmosphere didn’t really “wow” us. Still great place to eat with family and friends!

Hands down the best sushi in Federal Way! Carol was awesome! We sat in front of the Chef and the quality we saw and ate was comparable to high end Seattle sushi restaurants. The ambiance was great as well. We will be back!
