Passing by Tibetan Gallery and Studio, visit this restaurant. Sushi Kosho is an ideal choice if you are in the mood for the Japanese cuisine. To order perfectly cooked seaweed salads, beef ribs and tempura is a really nice idea. Being at this place, try good sesame ice cream, butter cakes and creamy cakes. It's time to degustate delicious wine or good beer. Matcha that you can try is great. At this spot, you can get a takeaway. This restaurant is recommended for the professional staff. Based on the visitors' opinions, prices are affordable. At Sushi Kosho, people can enjoy the cozy atmosphere and modern decor. Google users who visited this place state that the most suitable score is 4.1.

A friend recommended Kosho and I am disappointed. I always order chirashi from Japanese restaurants and this chirashi felt like a $40 bowl of fish scraps. Except for the salmon roe. The rice was not sushi rice, or if it was it must have been very lightly seasoned. In the attached pictures you can see how the fish cuts are falling apart, small and uneven. So much tuna and salmon, barely any of any whitefish. I was looking forward to mackerel sashimi as that isn't common in Chirashi, but I couldn't even enjoy it as it was mainly skin with tattered fish on it. Chirashi is a bowl of assorted sashimi, not randomly cut fish. My family got other dishes, the tofu donburi and a roll, both were fine. The cooked vegetables with the tofu mightve been the tastiest. Maybe just stick to nigiri if you want raw fish here. Service was overall good. But so disappointed by the fish when it costs more than other restaurants. We were hanging out with a large group that consisted of several kids in the Imagination Playground which is directly next to this restaurant, so we got takeout. It seems like a nice place to dine-in as well. The lady that took my order was pretty unfriendly and not pleasant to interact with. The poke bowls we had were delicious and more than enough food for lunch. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Poke Bowls
We had a great time here trying some great fusion options! The Korean Poke was great, too! I loved how open air the dinning area is and is was really fun to look out on the play area in the Barlow. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

Had an excellent sushi experience at Kosho's. All the food was amazing! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Double Down Rolls and Red Dragon Rolls
This is some of the best sushi we have had in Northern California. It was very surprising because we did not expect such good sushi to be here in Sevastopol. The location of the restaurant is a little small so we had a little wait but it’s in an awesome outdoor mixed market and shopping area called the Barlow and we easily killed some time walking and sitting by the park next door. Two or three fun looking bars in the vicinity. The food was excellently prepared with high quality ingredients. This is not a $150 omakase type of experience, but for its class of family style accessible Japanese places, the food is more than solid, it’s exquisite and at a reasonable price compared to similar places all throughout the Bay Area. The standout was the 15 spices ribs appetizer. Perfectly prepared, seared outside and tender outside, impressed our international table. The sushi is also made with great fish. This time I didn’t try any special toro but the quality of the fish makes me think there is a secretly overtalented chef in the back taking it one step at a time to deliver what’s needed for a family commumity. This is awesome and not a crazy price at about $40 per person including tip and tax for five people for a fantastic dinner. Easy parking here lots of free parking at the Barlow. Try to make a reservation ahead of time if you can!
Food was excellent, service started out great, when we were ready to order or needed something the service was responsive. But later into the meal we did not enjoy having our dinner conversation interrupted by a second and then third different server. It felt strangely aggressive. We passed on dessert. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Double Down Rolls and Red Dragon Rolls

Was really hoping that this would be a good Japanese restaurant judging by the reviews. Unfortunately the food was really sub par. The chilled Spinach was very over cooked, there was no Sesame or Miso flavor that we could taste or see. The crispy Rice Pearls were a nice addition but couldn't save this dish. We had 2 Nigiri, Unagi and Hon Maguro the Fish and the Eel were both very good but the Sushi Rice was overcooked and mushy and the was no wasabi under the Tuna. We also had the #7 roll. Again the rice, of course, was the same. The "Tempura Crunchies" were so finely crushed that they were unnoticeable. The "Veggie Sprinkles" were just silly, they add nothing, the minced Onion was too strong(maybe Green Onions would work) and it just falls off. It just isn't integrated into the roll at all. Also if you seat till 8 the kitchen should not close at 8. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
The food here is really terrific. The seaweed salad and the ribs are standouts, but it’s all good. The tempura shrimp roll! And the very creative matcha cake with black sesame ice cream-sublime! I’ve eaten here three times and it’s all been great.
