From the moment we walked in we knew we made the right choice. It smelled yummy. The tonkatsu ramen was perfection. Savory, creamy and full of pork. Edamame was fresh and plentiful. The chicken ramen looked amazing and my friend said it was one of the best she had eaten (and she loves ramen). Sushi rolls were comparable to to-go trays at the supermarket though the spicy tuna and spicy salmon were just regular tuna and salmon with siracha on top. The deep fried rolls were actually great. They did have GF soy available which was a plus. The Ramen was OK: noodles and pork both seemed slightly overcooked. Broth wasnt too salty. It was crazy busy and staff seemed way overwhelmed. We ordered two sushi rolls (Rockn Roll and some other roll I can’t remember the name of) and a tonkotsu ramen. The sushi was awful. There was a bone in the salmon of our roll and the fish itself did not taste fresh and was very chewy. The ramen was a bit better. I liked that the broth wasn’t overly salty like at some other ramen places I’ve been to but it could’ve been more flavorful as well. Not bad but nothing to get excited about either. The service was great, our waiter was attentive and checked up on us frequently. Overall very disappointed in the quality of sushi here and underwhelmed by the ramen. Makes me wonder why this place has such good reviews. I’ll stick to my usual sushi spot in Laguna Niguel called Jizake. One of the best Ramen in the local community! Cozy ambiance and good customer service. They need to get better with table cloth cleaning that smells chemical to me. Would like to try the other meals. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Really cute place, very cozy but not cramped. The server was new but very kind and asked their manager when they didn’t know the answer to something, which is always good. My dad and I got vegan ramens and they were delicious but I wish there was a spicy vegan ramen, too. Brother got the Miso ramen and enjoyed it. The vegan sushis (vegetable tempura and vegetable rolls) were pretty good. I have high standards for vegan sushi thanks to vegan sushi restaurants in the Bay area but for Orange County this is a sushi and ramen place with great vegan options. I ordered some takeout for lunch, and was pleased with the timeliness and quality of the order. I took a few pictures of the inside while waiting for my food to be completed. Very simple small place that could be a good neighborhood date night spot. There is a small short sushi bar so I wouldn’t recommend coming here simply for a sushi bar experience. Considering how reasonably priced the sushi rolls were, I wasn't expecting to be blown away. My husband and I shared a Rainbow roll; as soon as I tasted it I was tempted to ask my husband to get his own while I enjoyed the delicate rice and flavorful fresh fish.
