Here on a short stay, ended up eating at Swami's twice. Can say with confidence that their food is overall delicious, and each of the servers/hosts/employees that I interacted with were super friendly and helpful. (Also, best and biggest acai bowl on Carlsbad, wish I had taken a picture of it!) This might as well be the best breakfast place to go to. 5-star food, the egg and toast with some butter blew my body back 50,000 ft, it was so good I ordered it again. also for the portion size you get, the price is great. The ice tea is also very good. The service is great with open areas and very kind and patient waiters. The atmosphere is also extremely open with fresh air and a decently low noise. It's very nice. OK I will say the Stuffed French Toast my wife ordered is worth a return trip. Sadly nothing else is. Chorizo and egg scramble was lacking in flavor, the salsa that came with it had no kick. My Bloody Mary was decent. Orders are all taken through portable tablet like devices, which means any customization will fail. My sourdough toast had no crunch.
