Update 2022: came by to have dinner with friends, I ordered first and not only did i get my food last it took them an 57 min to get me my food and it was cold! 👎

I work on the road and I always have to find restaurants or coffee shops to stop by during my day, answer some emails and calls. I was gonna stop at a McDonald's because of their free WiFi, but I am so glad I stumbled upon sweet cakes before I could reach mcdonalds! They had a "Daily special" for only $6 which included rice, a pasta salad, and the most tender and delicious chicken thighs with onions, plus a bottle of water! The food was amazing, so tasty and way healthier than McDonald's! The service was excellent. I asked for the WiFi so I could work.... (My hotspot doesn't always work). And they provided me the password with a big smile. The WiFi worked great. All the tables had outlets which allowed me to work there and be very productive. The food came out very quick, and it tasted so fresh and homemade. Like Mom's cooking. The decorations inside were lovely, restrooms very clean, staff was super quick and friendly. I wasn't drinking because I was working but they had a fully stocked bar. If I came back to Salinas on time off, I would come for some cocktails. I loved the vibe of the restaurant. I will come here every single time I have to work in Salinas. Sweet Cakes management is doing something right! Keep up the good work. You have a loyal customer now :) I took a photo so I could send to my friends about the new spot we have to go to.
.This place is located in the township of Salinas,Puerto Rico. This is not only a bakery they also serve Puerto Rican & Caribbean food as well. They have plenty of parking available for handicap and wheelchair accessible entrance,bathroom forr both males and females. There is no masks required only if you want to wear one..

Pastries are rather good. Atmosphere is very relaxed. They are pet friendly. Most of the staff speak English. I can't tank the food because I've only purchased pastries. They have a variety of candy and beverages. All and all I would recommend this place and I look forward to ordered a sandwich one day.

Best mocha frappuccino I've had. This is a place that have tasty treats, sandwiches, coffee and frappuccino 😋
It also had plenty of parking space.
Inside is comfortable and pretty.
The staff have been very respectful and kind. I recommend it.
Beautiful family oriented place, it is more than a bakery, it's a restaurant also. Very clean, great customer service. Go prepared for a great menu, sweet diversity and a great café.
Pretty good place , very clean inside. You walk in and order at the register they give you number and your food comes out. Fresh fruit drinks , menu changes daily, Monday specials ; we had arroz con gandulez and pernil, grilled pork chops w sweet potato fries, carne guisada was ok a little tough on the meat. We ordered desert to go. Cheesecake guayaba and some cupcakes too. We were crunched on time , so deff try and get there a little early it takes some time for your food to come out.
Part of my meal was cold.Rice was white and unseasoned minute rice.Being from the US I couldn’t even eat more than a few bites.I’ll stick to the sweets and frappes.the super Breakfast looked like elementary school food.Waffles we’re great and so was the pernil.

Downside, they take forever. So order whatever you want 15min before getting there.
