I went with my sister to order her bday cake. This review is mine and mine alone. My opinions are not that of my mother or sister.
We presented the owner with a pic of what we wanted. When It was agreed that it could be done and in that time, She actually even moved the time up a half hour earlier. She gave us samples of "stale" (but still edible) lemon cake to try. It was nice and lemony. You can tell it was made with curd and was a nice yellow colour. We thought if this was "stale" it must taste amazing fresh. Made a deposit and left.
Mum got there 15mins late to collect cake and was not ready. Owner just took it out the fridge to add crumb coat and frosting. The cake was also a lot shorter than promised and she only did colour on the sides and left the top plain white. We had to ask her to do it as is in the picture. She took some money off the original price as mum had to wait.
My sister was not happy with the cake as she wanted water colours and not the bright colours used. Also for it to be blended and not look like colours smudged on a cake with a lot of visible white. The biggest shock of all was when she cut into her cake it was sponge and not lemon.
The cake looked ok. The cake tasted ok. However, we did not get what we asked/paid for. Very disappointed and not worth the money.

Bought an eclair here. Tasted good. Owner is very friendly. The food kitchen however is temporarily closed. Custom cakes available too!

Everything in this restaurant tastes great. If you in this area you MUST try, it gives a upscale feel when you enter. It is a GEM. The food is healthy and you get great potions but it doesn't make you stuff at all. You can taste every herb they use to season the food. You get a 5 star taste with a great price. $. Oh, they have a sauce that is out of this world and, you can get vegetarian food here as well. The pies, hmmmm, the cakes let's just say , I AM GOING.

I love the service here. They are extremely attentive and provide a very good service. They range of products is very large and of very high quality. I love the cakes and the local homemade icecres. It really reminds me of my childhood when we would make ice cream at home.
