I did not order the tomato and sour cream for my son's dish, but instead, it ended up with both plus a random onion. He was not pleased. The staff were exceedingly swift with our order, incredibly helpful and friendly. I love taco johns the food is always good. However this day when I went I wasn’t exactly happy. The person who took my order through the drive was very kind and patient. The woman at the first window was pleasant then comes the second window. She didn’t say a single word to me and just handed my food and closed the window as fast as she could, I couldn’t even ask for hot sauce. I drove around having to park my car and walk inside just to get the hot sauce. It pissed me off to say the least. The worker, I wish I would've caught her name, was by far one of the happiest, most cheerful workers I have encountered in, probably months. Everything was correct, even with quite a few modifications, and we didn't have to wait or ask for fresh potato oles. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped in tonight (9/4) which is probably the first time I've dined in in many many years. The guys working behind the counter for all very friendly and very helpful! The building was much cleaner than I remember from a long time ago and overall, it was just a really pleasant experience thanks to the staff working! I have no clue what the “watery” substance is inside my taco, but it’s gross. The shell is even “wet”. I’ve been here twice and twice they have messed up on my food. No tomatoes generally means, no tomatoes. And serving tacos with “watery” substance in them is beyond unacceptable. And when I called, the manager acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Friendly cashier and the place was well kept. Food tasted good, only downside is the prices. I remember 20 years ago when the chain had the 12 & a pound deal... 12 tacos and a pound of oles for $10.... went down to 6 before they got rid of it. Got a super potato ole with no beans no guacamole extra sour wand extra both cheeses when I got home to eat it there was no meat on it. I called and because the person I was with left and I had no ride to bring it back they said they would look at the cameras. They called me back and said they put meat on it wish I was able to post a pic of it you can clearly see there is no meat. Can’t wait to try this place myself! I snagged some of my babes potatoes ole and they were the best! My honey said the tacos were really good, though when I asked for chicken I figured it’d be fried and it was grilled. Which is ok, we will make sure to order differently next time. New to town and they were sooo sweet and patient when helping me inside! I wish I remember the young guys name (cashier) and one of the lady cooks. Everyone had a great attitude and I was just really grateful for the great experience.
