Great spot for a coffee break, lovely and cozy atmosphere. It's a must to try the traditional Maltese coffee, the recipe is 500 years old and this is the only spot where you can try it. The sweet bites of lemon tart and date tart to pair with coffee goes as a perfect refreshment while exploring Valletta! Price per person €5–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The best & my favorite cafe in Valletta! Keith makes you feel very welcome & the coffee is amazing! Highly recommend the lemon tart as well. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person €5–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing little cafe, a bit off the busiest main streets. Very cozy and friendly atmosphere. The owner is very passionate about coffee and Maltese traditional recipes and it‘s great to get to experience this. Don’t miss the homemade Orzata drink ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Please stop here as you are in Valetta! You can have a bite of history if you try a traditional bread pudding (grandma recipe) and sip a traditional kafe(500 years old recipe and only one who sells this). Keith is a great man, who owns and manage this place. His passionate about his job and products. Stop here and enjoy the old days of Malta! Incredible Maltese gem. I'm usually a flat white kinda gal but this place is perfect. Beans roasted onsite, alt milks, traditional Maltese coffee. The loveliest staff. Highly recommend but sssh, don't tell anyone 🤫 Service Dine in Price per person €1–5 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We found this tiny coffee shop off the main roads by accident. It smelled amazing but there were no seats so we walked round the block and tried again. The young man who owns it is so energetic and passionate about his craft, talking enthusiastically about loose leaf tea and proper coffee. He does espressos and lattes but we tried the traditional Maltese coffee which packs a serious kick. Highly recommend a visit. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
What a gem! We stumbled into this lovely café by accident and we got rewarded with amazing authentic Maltese coffee and sweets. The owner was very friendly and also gave us some insights on coffee and Valletta as well. Definitely a recommendation! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A welcome addition to the Valletta coffee scene. Keith knows his coffee like the back of his hand, having studied coffee in the last years. Tal-Kafè is very centrally located for a pit stop on a busy day in Valletta. The cappuccino is great but he can show his full colours when you ask for other specialty coffees or teas. Keep it up! One of the best, if not the best Café in Valletta! The owner is a really nice guy, who is always thrilled about explaining anything on his Menu, as for example the maltese traditional Orzata Drink he makes from scratch. A real little gem in the less crowded side streets of Valletta! Price per person €5–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
