After enjoying Santa Catarina Fortress, visit this restaurant that is not far away. Guests state that it's fine to go here for the Mediterranean and Portuguese meal. Bad service, no respect and rude waiter. If you want to be ignored, then go here. Unworthy horeca not something that you might expect in jacht harbour/ marina. I left. Service: 1

Never in my life I’ve felt as scammed. First of all we arrive and the waiter says to us that the kitchen is closed but they can give us some cold starters so we accept. The. They gave us the menú and two minutes later the waiter appears with threes plates of food, food that we didn’t order. We didn’t want to be disgraced so we accepted. When we ask for the bill, we see in the bill the price of 35€ that almost give us a heart attack. 1,20€ for every small box of butter that the decided to put in our table (4€ total butter), bread from yesterday (4€) and a long list of stupid prices that we shouldn’t be paying. At the and of the day, if you don’t want to work, if you have the kitchen closed, let me know and I’ll go to any other place, but this is so unfair Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €35–40

Expected to eat tapas, they don't have tapas on the menu. We sat down and bread, olives and canned tuna was placed on our table without us ordering it. When we realized that there were no tapas on the menu we wanted to leave but apparently we had to pay for the bread, olives and tuna. First the waitress came out and said it cost 6.80 (!) euros but then changed it to 7.80. TERRIBLE experience, do not recommend it to anyone.

The starter was a dish with large open mussels, that was presented to us when already prepared. (We learned later that this is not allowed in the Netherlands.) Apparently at least one mussel was bad, as I got sick in about 20 seconds, and then fainted. I threw up after regaining consciousness again. Fortunately, there was a doctor in the restaurant who did some quick checks and called an ambulance. After an ECG and blood test in the hospital, it was confirmed that it was food poisoning. The hospital invoice was 145€. We took a taxi back and went by the Tapas Bar. Believe it or not, we had to pay the full bill, even though we didn't eat the main course further! Be warned!

This neat harbor restaurant is definitely not anything I'd call a tapas bar - these guys are specialized in full blown seafood! - but they do know the trade. Fresh fish for sure and the beef was very tasty as well. Pricey for Figueira but very popular anyway so book ahead! Mostly Portuguese spoken, it seems.

It is not a tapas place and they put out food and make you pay for it without ordering. Do not recommend this place!!!! Lots of other nice restaurants up the street .
