We’ve been wanting to try out the red iguana for awhile so when we saw the taste of in the food court we had to give it a shot. We had nachos, smothered chicken burrito and enchiladas. All we’re fantastic and no one left hungry. Looking forward to trying more of their menu either at the taste of, or one of their restaurants. Probably the worse burrito I’ve ever had. I ordered the Colorado. It was disgusting. Small portion size a little out of meat and a tough tortilla, Covered in sauce. This place used to be good. I’m done gong here. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Value of the food was great. I shared the chimichanga with a friend and I was full. It included beans, rice, chips and salsa. I couldn't eat more. The reason for the low score was that the food was not properly seasoned. With a bit more spices, I would have scored it a 4, maybe even a 5. But it was not quite right for me. But again, the value of the cost and amount of food was great

While it may never beat the actual restaurant it’s based on, this is still a fantastic stop! The enchilada suizas are easily my favorite and the people prepared them surprisingly fast (I think I only waited 5 minutes after ordering). Taste of Red Iguana 🦎 does NOT disappoint! Located inside the Food Court of City Creek Shopping Center. A smaller limited menu than Red Iguana, hence the name “Taste of Red Iguana”. I recommend the Chili Relleno burrito 🌯

This place could easily fix the issues. The tortilla of the burrito was rough and it was probably sitting there on their counter for a while. They forgot to put chips, so I had to go back and get it. Also, they charge for tap water. The carne assada in the burrito was okay. Also, tipping doesn't provide you better service, so there is no point in it, since they are only giving you the food over the counter and not providing any other service. nice little add that they give you chips and salsa but after paying $10 for a burrito it kind of evens out. I am not mexican, but we all know that burritos are wrapped, even the emoji for it ( 🌯) but it was not wraped and that is just too bad for a mexican place it was like eating a broken fancy hot pocket but anyways, tasted like heaven, the salsa was not as good but the burrito flavor was money. just wrap it up next time, when I went to grab it I literally got my hands dirty with food because it wasn’t closed 🤷‍♂️

Good vegetarian options. Meals come with a side of chips and salsa. Fajitas were delicious and the bean and rice burrito was tasty and filling. Nice place to go for a quick lunch or dinner. We went in a friday at about 5:30 and there was only a few minute wait to order and a few more minutes until the food was ready. Has a good spicy flavor but not too hot that it burns.

I'm unsure why the star rating for this is low. This is a good place. I'm prefer the actual full restaurant because we can get alcohol, but this is easy and fast when in the city creek area. Carne asada is one of my favorite meals and this was good, two large tacos, plus the chips, rice and beans is a good sized meal. My wife gets the enchiladas. It's really good food.
