Last night a group of friends and I decided to stay local and hit up a bar in Richardson. We chose The tavern and it was such a good time. A dive bar with pool tables, foosball, games and karaoke. Needless to say, our group of 12 Asians enjoyed our night. Drinks were priced just right, casual vibes and we sang our hearts out on stage. 10/10!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a fun dive bar. My friend and I were unaware of the atmosphere prior to going. It feels like you're going back in time 20-ish years as they allow smoking indoors & the lighting is very dark. The service is great. The food is good, & it's a laid-back vibe, but you will smell like smoke when you leave. If you're looking for a dimly lit, seedy bar straight out of '70s then this is the place for you. I'm fairly certain it hasn't been updated since then. I had no idea that smoking was still permitted in 2024 at a restaurant-bar. Came to meet friends, walked in the door, and the overwhelming stench of cigarettes was disgusting. We had to walk out without ordering. It was creepy and in no way inviting or welcoming. Their website looks great… but trust when I say, from the moment you open the door, smell the stench, look around inside, you’ll notice the interior doesn’t even resemble the images they show. Based on their website, it looks like a fun, well lit & decorated bar. All I can think is they staged the photos like realtors do for properties. Skeevy , creepy. Atmosphere: 1

Nice local spot with great staff. Saturdays are karaoke so we try to get in and out early. Sorry but some people shouldn't be near a mic.... They have a small gaming area with pool tables, foosball and some arcades. The staff had always been awesome and very friendly. They are a smoking bar so if smoking bothers you be warned. It's usually not bad, but it is there. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My favorite bar in Richardson. Outstanding food. Try the steak which isnt on the menu. Great beer selection and staff (Jenny, Denise, Aundia, Kaitlyn and more). Smoking is allowed but rarely too smokey (it is a bar after all). Also great live music on Thursday nights. Come and have some fun.
