Great place for lunch food was on point. Hot sausage on bun with chips and my Boss had the Club sandwich with fries.
The owner, Terry, is so sweet .

Nice Little Spot For Some Comfort Food. Everything Was Prepared Fresh. The Chili Cheese Fries Were Delicious. The Macaroni And Cheese Taste Like Moms And The Paneed Pork Chops Were Juicy And Cooked To Perfection. I'll Definitely Be Coming Back To This Place. The Only Thing That Stung A Little Was When My Waitress Told Me That They Were Out Of Seafood Gumbo. 😎
So this neighborhood joint has never disappointed me for breakfast or lunch and I mean, ever. I was there for lunch today and ordered from the daily special ‘shrimp philly wrap’ fried with onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato with mayo and salad with blue cheese dressing. I also ordered the loaded fries as an appetizer and after finishing everything up, had trouble walking towards my car. Just kidding. The prompt, courteous and professional service is always provided with a smile. I would definitely recommend anyone in the slidell area (northshore) to give Terry Lynn’s Cafe a try. The only downside is that they close too early at 2p. Hopefully, the owner will read this review and open up during the evening hours as well😀
My daughter and I have our weekly lunches here and though sometimes we’re rushing in at 1pm, the staff is always happy to see us. We get excellent service and excellent food each and every time.

Can’t speak for lunch, but this was the worst breakfast I have ever had! Everything was way overcooked, eggs, hash browns, meat, etc. service was horrible. Took 30 min. to get our meal. Server was not attentive. Will not go back.

This place has cute outdoors area with shade of the trees and umbrellas. Interior is nice but some work areas and shelves with supplies sticking out would be better off covered from customer's eye, I think. On the wall they had some handmade signs for sales, which is cute. Cafe offers broad menu with breakfast and lunch items. We tried soup of the day , which was creamy chicken mushroom rice soup. It was alright, I prefer smaller pieces of food, so choppy chunks of chickens weren't my favorite. The lady at the counter was nice and prompt ( seems like she was doing calls, serving and taking orders!) And she did it all nicely, politely and with great attitude.
Very very slow service. Only 4 other people and we have been here 30 min! Server has not checked on us or refilled our coffee. Food was not good. How can you mess breakfast up. Over cooked. Won’t be back!

Adorable place and great food. Appreciated having a few different vegetarian options. I got the Greek omelette and my friend got the veggie, both were great and really hit the spot. Grits were good as well and toast and biscuits were perfect. They actually give you good temperature butter for spreading instead of it coming straight from a fridge. Waitress was super sweet and kept the coffee coming.

Terry Lynn did an outstanding job of Catering and hosting a private party for me at her cafe! Everyone especially raved about her Gumbo and also the Chicken Alfredo! My personal favorite is her Muffuletta! I'm looking forward to doing it again!
