I had the coconut 🥥 shrimp 🍤 it was delicious 🤤 after I ask them if they could please do it again it was a little to fried for my liking they did it without an issue it was omg sooo good and the orange marmalade sauce to dip shrimp in was sooo beyond good !!! I also had a cup of chili and asked for the jalapeño to be removed when I say this was the best chili I have ever tasted in my life hands down !!!!! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Everything about this place is great. The atmosphere and ambience are great, and so is the food. I have had many of their burgers and they are all good - especially the tessie's, calusa, Kiki and the holy guacamole. The sides are also wonderful - my wife loved the sweet potato fries and I like their fires and garlic tots. Highly recommend! This was my second visit to this restaurant, the first being just after they opened post-pandemic. The food was high quality and the service was upbeat and consistent. It was interesting, there was one server who took my order and a different server brought me the food and checked in afterwards. Someone that I used to know from visits in the past to a former establishment in Allston was working at Tessie's and recognized me from the past and I appreciated that. I ordered a virgin bloody mary and a ginger beer however the ginger beer tasted watered down, but it could have been due to excessive ice in the cup. The first server listened to my dietary restriction request, however didn't offer to alter ingredients or recommend a custom entree for my needs. The pretzel was huge and in my opinion had a little bit too much salt. The beer cheese that came with the pretzel was okay but the other dipping sauce did not taste like (honey) mustard as on the menu. The homemade veggie burger with lettuce instead of a bun hit the spot, and the fries were crisp and seasoned just right. There was live guitar music at the time I visited and it sounded upbeat. The paper towels were out and there was a lot of wetness underneath the urinal in the men's room but that is on par with expectations for such an establishment on a weekend night. I’m never to leave a review. As someone who works in restaurants. I ordered the “famous” friend chicken Sammie. No bacon. And this is what I got. Yikes Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

One of the best restaurants in Waltham. The burgers are amazing, and the southwestern salad is my favorite. The service is always attentive, friendly, and very fast. This is my go-to spot for a satisfying meal and drinks. I highly recommend Tessie’s if you haven’t tried it! Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was disappointed. I got the tessie burger, ordered medium with the garlic tots added. The burger came out well done, but it was cold and the bun was wet. Unfortunately the tots were also not edible. I will say maybe this was my fault I may not have fully read the description but the garlic on the tots was raw minced garlic. Now I love garlic, but it was about 6 cloves of raw garlic, it was not an enjoyable experience. Thanks for your reply. When our server asked if I wanted it wrapped up, I did tell her that I did not enjoy it. She took it away. It took a while for it to come out the first time, she was busy, and I was not going to wait for another to be cooked. Great experience. Overall friendly, clean and great food. Really loved the fried chicken sandwich. Tater tots are absolutely perfect, Very well cooked crunchy and taste amazing. Salads are great! It's a really nice bar, we were watching a baseball game here. The fried pickles were really good, but the fried chicken sandwich (fried chicken Sammie) was even better! It was a huge piece of fried chicken in a pretzel bun, which made it amazing. My husband ordered the Tessie burger, he said that it was really good too. As a burger lover I have to recommend their food. We’ve had a few of them and have yet to be disappointed in the slightest. We just moved to the area which means that we’ve been exploring the food. Tessie’s is very close to us so we’ve quickly adopted it as our go-to restaurant. I would recommend getting the truffle tots (I always ask to get them on the fries instead) and the raspberry bbq wings. We can’t come here without getting the wings. Just a warning: their fried chicken sandwich is the BIGGEST sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s so dang good but I have yet to finish it in one sitting. Must try but you’ve been warned :)

Reservation system was great! Parking can be a bit hard to find but every was amazing. Atmosphere was just perfect. The space between customers is just right. Small and intimate.
