If I could leave zero stars, I WOULD! I never leave reviews. However, the cashier was very very very RUDE! When I picked up my order, she did not speak. I asked if she put soy sauce and duck sauce in the bag. She responded with a rude "yeah". I did not state anything at that point, I just left. The cashier hollered at a waitress as well. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT. The cashier seems very unhappy. She needs to stop taking her anger out on others. Upon returning home, my food looked undone and not fresh. I decided to take the food back because I did not want to risk getting sick. I did not want them to remake my food, I just wanted a refund. Because I wanted a refund, she told me not to come back again. LMBO! I didn't plan on going back, TRUST ME! There was no sanitation grade posted. That is a warning sign that the establishment is not of standard code. Also, she tried to come up with excuses not to give me my money back. Now, I see why the reviews are so BAD! The previous owners were very NICE and ACCOMMODATING. I will NEVER return back to Asian House in Mount Airy Nc. The experience was just HORRIBLE!!! I should have known something was off regarding the establishment because of how dirty the fish tank was. The ENTIRE establishment is very DIRTY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I will go to Tin Tin or P.F. Chang's. These establishments are clean, have great food, great customer service, and are very attentive. Visiting the Asian House in Mount Airy Nc was a waste of TIME and ENERGY. Me and my family always come here and the food always tastes great. They have an assortment of food items to choose from in the buffet. The waiters are attentive but if it’s busy not as much but that’s okay since there’s usually only two waiters sometimes even just one. Out of the many times I’ve been here over the years, I’ve rarely had an issue! Service Dine in Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

If you are looking for an Asian Buffet, this might be the place. The 3 best things were the Crab Rangoon, which was as good as any I've ever had, the Fried Cream Shrimp, which were excellent, and the Stuffed Mushrooms, which were superb. No picture of the mushrooms. They got gone fast..... Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

today me and my family went here to eat. i didn’t get a refill the ENTIRE time. the fried shrimp was hard as a rock and cold! the fries that i had were cold and soggy, you could wash a car with it! they charged a 3(!!) year old $8.99 because she ate TWO cucumbers! the waitress said she “still ate.” not to mention the 11 y/o that ate ONE plate got charged adult prices. this place is a absolute joke. they had an extra camera rolling just to make SURE that the 3 y/o wasn’t eating their food. i’ve had MULTIPLE bad experiences at this restaurant, because i thought it was a one or two time thing, but it has been CONTINUOUSLY bad. Rude disrespectful women. The man is more nicer then them. Went there tonight and the cashier snatched the money out of my mother's hand and said rudely thank you and have a goodnight before my mother could even ask for a receipt. Portions are good size and food got delivered hot. Overall flavors were nothing special and pretty bland for this type of food. Crab ragoons didn't come with any sauce. Paid extra for shrimp fried rice as a side and they didn't put any shrimp in it. I went in for 2 takeout plates like I have many times before, requested some fresh rice/noodles because there was hardly any & it was dry from sitting. Cashier requested the food. Proceeds to bring food out. She jerks my plate out of my hand & pours it all onto my plate completely filling it. I told her I didn't want that much that i wanted other stuff on my plate & she said I had requested it so I must take it. I asked why bc I had done this many times before & the rest could just go on the bar, and she then starts yelling at me that if I'm getting a to go buffet I can't request food from the back I have to take what's already there. I explained that it was dry & she continued to yell and tell me the price of the food that she brought out insisting that I will have to pay additional money for said food eventhough I was already paying for the overpriced by the pound to go plates. All the workers stood and stared as she yelled at me with my 7 year old daughter by my side. I have been here hundreds of times & its never been an issue to request fresh food. It was 1 hour 20 mins before stated closing time & there was another person in there eating. I will absolutely NEVER go back to this establishment. I would have had no issue just getting a to go order if she had told Me this to begin with- but she did not. Not sure about everyones bad reviews, but everytime i been here its always been nice! The staff do speak a different language which is a bit odd especially when your thinking "well are they talking about me" lol but they seem pretty friendly, food was always real good. Only thing i dont like is when you go in everything is a little too closely together and it makes everything feel a bit stuffy but it isnt too hard to ignore. We walked in and I specifically asked if refills were free or if they charge, I was presented with tha alcohol menu and we had to look up if refills costed extra, pork egg rolls were pink, we found two hairs obviously not ours, chicken leg was sooo yellow, jello still and tasted like orange peel and mint, overall tha food was bad. Tha moment tha waiter gave us our tickets to pay she pointed straight too tha tips and said “give me tip, pay me money” I was nice enough to give 4 buck cuz no one else in our party gave her no tip, after we left we head to Walmart and tha moment we pulled in tha parkin lot me and my friend threw up literally everything we ate for 5-10 mins.
