Genuinely 5 stars in every aspect and category. Very clean, refreshing, shaded, fans and private. Cozy atmosphere. Great date spot. The Egg Mutton Kebabs were my favorite. The omelette vas excellent. I recommend the Poussin Fried Chicken among the 3 options. Taste similar to buffalo wings except a whole chicken. Very tasty not too hot. We are staying at the Savora Imperial Hotel and this blows it out of the water. We would come back daily if staying here. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Its a very modern and minimalist design restaurant. Its a bit difficult to get to. If you just walking the street you will miss it. Its on the street behind the Hindu temple in town close to the old Catholic University building. It's behind a shop front and you go down a narrow corridor to get to it. It's very pop up like with outdoor seating and tent like covering. The staff are very courteous and quick to serve. The menu is all fast food so if you looking for something home cooked then you wont find it here. I loooove the pizza and samosas. You could also give the bhajias a try or the burgers. They have some new sweet drinks and a revamped menu. I like that they are trying to renew themselves. There's usually some music in the background and the manager/owner always wants to know if you are okay. I have been here a few times and it's the perfect place for a date or easy meet up. It's a little removed from the town center and they have recently expanded the eating areas. It looks really cool at night. It's kinda romantic on a weekday evening if you wanna go on one of those easy and quiet weeknight dates. The staff have been there for sometime and pretty soon you get acquainted with them.

The Backyard Patio is a nice small serene place perfect for a Saturday afternoon date the staff are very welcoming the food is amazing the chicken tikka is something I'd have everyday it's sweet succulent juicy chicken you finish it yearning for more their lime lemonade is perfect for a very hot day when paired with their mutton burger there are no words to compare the magic that happens in your mouth I highly recommend the place you will never be disappointed Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Do yourself a favour and visit this cozy little restaurant in Kisumu town, with something available to cater to every taste bud: from their savory starters, to tasty pizzas, to a variety of mains, including delicious vegetarian options, to refreshing drinks and must-have milkshakes, you will be spoilt for choice! Their weekend specials vary from burgers to mexican dishes to freshly grilled delectables, and are not to be missed. The owners are always eager to cater to any special requests and the venue is available and ideal for private birthday parties and small events. Their take-away service is swift and efficient. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants around town!

We had a very nice vegetarian burger and chicken burger here, with good sauce and caramelized onions. The gave good service and gave me a mixed salad instead of the french fries, like I asked. It was also nice to sit in their backyard area and get away from the streets and the car noise. We recommend it. Prices were very reasonable.

Nice tucked away restaurant in the middle of Kisumu town. Don't miss the small entry doorway. Very nice burgers with a lot of vegetarian options. We didn't have to wait long for the food and the service was good. No kids menu but the fries and burger options made up for that. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Such a friendly, family oriented setup. Amazing delicacies originally found , prepared, and served in the most relaxing atmosphere. Always a delightful experience, every time I have visited for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Bravo!!! Bon Appétit!!! Difficult to find the entrance jeez! Need to put some vivid light coloured signage outside, something creative than the small font mundane signage at the top of the wall no one sees! Anyway, fantastic ambience! It was raining so we could smell that awesomeness while we ate. The lighting is on point too! The service from the number listed & the waiter on the ground is useless! Food was ok, the mutton burger was difficult to chew, kababs were ok. It’s an average place!

Backyard patio is a family run restaurant by the trio Shaireen, Imran, and Aunty Shamim. It consists of a great variety of food and beverage selections including yummy milkshakes. Backyard Patio is located at the back side of Pan palace and it has a very friendly and cosy ambience from the time you enter. You are greeted with a comforting smile from the host, who is very accommodating whether you are eating alone or with a big group. Every Saturday you are treated to specials of the day from either buffalo wings to bean burgers to southern fried chicken to bbq Tikka to bean burritos to strawberry lemonades to my all time fav - cannelloni and potato skins. Shaireen never ceases to amaze me with my endless list of demands and requests. Highly recommend the place for a quick meal, conference, girls catch-up, or even a bday dinner party. 😋😋😋
