Only stopped at the restaraunt. Really lovely decor and nice drinks. Food is well presented but portions were very small. Not even 5 cubes of pork in 1 dish. However I would stop here dor a drink again and the staff were very nice.
Wonderful drinks, amazing food and spectacular ambiance. All sitting on one of the nicest beaches on Koh Chang. Excellent service and most of the staff speaks English. Our best day on Koh Chang 👍👍👍
Such a great spot with friendly service! Visited in low season and ended up staying for 4 nights because I was so impressed.
Quiet, extremely clean, and the staff is attentive. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms had unlimited hot water, and the AirCon worked flawlessly.
Also, the pizza was surprisingly good.
Highly recommended for people who want to avoid the overly tourist areas and just spend some time relaxing to the sound of the waves.
What a lovely stay this was. First time in Thailand for both me and my friend, and it couldn’t have gone better. We were looking for a quiet, laid back and relaxing place and we got exactly that at The Beach Café. The staff were fun, warm and welcoming and made us feel well looked after. The location is perfect - south part of the island, quiet and right at the beach. Great chairs to recline in and read a book, right next to the front desk where we could order something to drink and eat.
We ended up having breakfast, lunch and dinner every day there during our stay. The fried glass noodles were my favourite!
The room was very comfortable with a proper mosquito net over the bed, a lovely shower and even a small fridge. Every morning we had two bottles of water and packs of instant coffee at our doorstep, we could calmly start our days in the swing chairs outside our door or in the swinging bed, hammock or chairs down at the beach. A step out the door, and we found ourselves at the beach. Rocked to sleep by the waves every night!
The Beach Cafe had a nice atmospheric music playing, nothing loud and blasting. It was all very calming. Exactly what we needed, coming from bustling Hanoi.
Our personal favourite, I think, was the little cat friend roaming around. She was apparently living next door, but loved wandering around the resort and chatted with us guests.
The beach was perfect, the water was lovely in both high tide and low tide.
From the Beach Cafe we could take a 10 minute walk into a slightly bigger “town” where we could get necessities at 7/11, go to a little market for souvenirs and fruit and take out money from the ATM’s.
The staff were always smiling and excited to see us, in a very genuine way. They even helped us print our visas for our flight back!
Getting there was surprisingly easy, albeit a little bit confusing for a first timer. We took the local bus from Ekkamai Bus Station in Bangkok to Trat Bus Station, which took around five hours. From Trat Bus Station we could take a taxi (we had to pay a bit more since it was just the two of us going there, it’s cheaper when they take bigger groups or more people) directly to Ao Thammachart Pier, where we got tickets for the ferry and the taxi to our hotel in the same go. We got a sticker on our shirts to indicate what taxi we should get on. The ferry took about 45 minutes, then we were directed towards a taxi that took us an others to our hotels or destinations. The taxi from the Koh Chang pier took an hour, give or take. It was actually really smooth!
If either of us were to find ourselves in Thailand again, we’d definitely revisit The Beach Café. ❤️

Lovely stylish and classy beach bar and restaurant. Finished to a high standard and reminiscent of a very cool bar in Bali but without the same prices.
Food is amazing and the chef is clearly a gem; drinks and hospitality are equally first class. The staff are so friendly and welcoming it’s an amazing find.
Nice chilled place with loungers and facilities if you’re here in the day or for a more sophisticated evening out.
The pizzas are outstanding.
Nice hangout with good food for a really fair price and welcoming staff. Nice sun beds and beach, no charge if you buy food and drinks. Everything I’ve ate so far is top class. Don’t miss out on the Thai ice tea.

4th time to visit and it still has its charm. Food and drinks are great especially their pizzas and fruit juices. The beach in front is great for swimming - clear water, white sands, lots of lounge chairs with umbrellas for sunbathing. Staff are friendly, even dogs roaming around are friendly 😁
