After a walk around St James Anglican Church, many visitors stop by this pizzeria. Have a good time here and share nicely cooked seafood risotto, belly pork and prawns with your friends. We were lucky to get one of the spare tables, we arrived around 1730 upon arrival we noticed a few tables were reserved, so if you are looking to dine here with a family, i highly recommend you book in advance. The parking is limited so get in early as it will pack up. In regards to the food, we ordered the surf n turf quality was a thick slab of Scotch fillet cooked to perfection along with a couple of whole king prawns. They cater very well for quality and not like the auckland restaurants where it all looks and tastes the same, it even came with char grilled calamari quality 100%. Now to address the common question, the portion size...lets say, you get your money's worth, the portion size is similar to lone star if you've dined there then you will know what i mean, large plate just with extra love and quality. The service was great, the waitress even gave a colouring book with pencils for our toddler which was very kind of her. We also order the chefs recommendation which was the seafood chowder, not disappointed, again not like your normal seafood chowder where you would expect the cream, and seafood mix etc, they had their own flavours but still reminded you that it tastes like how a seafood chowder should taste like. Good food & nice staff- except for the manager(or owner) who obviously doesn't know that her voice carries through the whole place. So listening to her scold the staff for every little thing, and make a highly inappropriate comment about customers having to sit on her face because we were given a table when we hadn't booked... infront of our kids...yeah- kinda killed the vibe. We wont be coming back. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Fabulous restaurant & the decor is so nice they have different little areas to suit all kinds. Booked a table of 5 & then a party of 15 were seated soon after, it didn't make a bit of difference our food came out quick & easy as if we were the only guests dining. Excellent menu so well cooked. Definitely our ho to restaurant.

Friday 18/8/17 group for farewell gathering. Chicken risotto was great. Steak was cooked to my likeing but the mushroom sauce was over powered by tomato flavour like sauce. Fish n chips was nice. What I found a problem was the gas heaters, not enough ventilation. Great staff and service. Oh the banana split....yummy had it for starter...I'd go there again and have pizza...everyone I saw looked great.
