Frequented this restaurant during our stay at the hotel and wasn’t very impressed with what we had ordered. My partner had the chicken noodle soup and we both agreed it tasted like flavored dish water. After enjoying the chicken curry I ordered the previous night at Azure, I got the Mozambican Coconut chicken curry. It was good, but not on the standard of the one I ate at Azure. But, that being said, the beautiful surroundings make you feel less bad amount splurging on a lunch you really didn’t enjoy that much. When I stay at the 12A again, I’ll stick to Azure and rather go out of the hotel for lunch.

Wow, what an amazing experience we've had here! Our first time to ever go there, but a phenomenal time, from the moment we set foot in it, everything from the staff, the food, the ambience, truly a 5-star experience. Definitely our home away from home and surely to be listed as one of our most favourite hotels. Thank you so much for a wonderful day!

This is the place to be at if you need to refresh your mind. The service is on point and the food is great, I won't lie. I must say I enjoyed spar the most. Go and check the place out, you won't be disappointed.

Exceptional service. Beautiful place. Food at Cafe Grill was EXTREMELY AVERAGE. They advertise Halal food however they say only chicken is halal and most food contains alcohol. I've eaten way better food around Cape Town. Plating wasn't even good. For a 5 star place, they need to better their food. Completely overpriced for no reason and food is definitely 2 star.

Medium steak came to me completely rare and even though the service was very friendly, the new steak that was brought to me was burnt and the vegetables were not done well like the first plate.

We had booked a table for lunch on Saturday, 6 November 2021 at 3pm. Upon arrival we went to The Cafe Grill and it took about 3 minutes for us to be attended to and seated. When we were shown to our table, the waitress did not take our drinks order nor pay us any mind. She left us with the menus and attended the only other table that had guests in the restaurant. When we called for her attention, she told us to wait and then came to us with such negative attitude - also seemed to be very irritated with us. We then ordered drinks and she asked if she can take our menus. How when we haven't even ordered any food? The service was truly appalling and we were treated like we were inconveniencing the waitress when we needed attention. I do not see myself coming back. Please train your customer-facing staff to treat guests better.

Always lovely - the food is consistently good and the surrounds so lovely. The most amazing staff - one is treated with such warmth and always made to feel special and welcome. Thank you so much!
