Average fish and chips. Rude service today from a server - no hellos mostly single syllable replies. Not rushed by being too busy as there were 2 orders in. Maybe just the one server, but not a great impression. Nice outdoor seating. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Worst fish and chips ever. Everything comes pre frozen, even the chips. Calamari rings too - just a frozen bag of breaded squid rings straight from the frozen section. Mussels and oyster look rotten? Had a fish burger and medium chips for our tea. Very accommodating when we asked for cheese to be left out of one of our burgers. Was written clearly on the box for us. Chips were yummy, cooked perfectly with tasty salt. Very quick wait time considering we were told 20 minutes. Shop nice and clean. Very happy to go back again, good price for wanaka. Standard small seafood shop by the water, had the fisherman’s basket and it was ok overall. The fries muscles left a bit to be desired and we had to upgrade to a medium chips to make sure we had enough

Good taste and fair portions, these are positive things about this take out. Prices ain’t bad either. They offer daily deals (mostly fish and chips with some side salad). Wait time is as usual. There’s some dining area just outside the shop, otherwise head towards lakeside. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I ordered a Blue Cod and a Fried chicken + chips. So my review is based on these 2 items I ordered. Paid $11.90 for 2 small pieces of blue cod, it was thinly battered and crispy. Nice. The fried chicken is slightly over-fried, but it taste crispy and nice too. The chips are nice. Overall, I recommend this place for fresh and tasty fish & chips.

Fish tasted fine, well battered and seasoned. Staff friendly. Docking two stars because 1) the whiting we were given was half the size of what she told us it would be before we ordered, and 2) the calamari are NOT squid. It was some weird thing that tasted like a fish finger in ring shape. Given the fake calamari is almost the same price as a whiting, you're way better off ordering another whiting instead. For the price I paid the food was underwhelming. The Chicken burger was very plain and put together very average. Two small pieces of chicken with lettuce and tomatoes a splash of mayo sauce for $15? The fish was over cooked and dry, the loaded fries were swimming in too much curry sauce you needed a spoon to eat it. No napkins or cutlery.The chips were all soggy from the sauce. Wonderful people but I like to get what I pay for in quality. $42 later, definitely not worth it. Was expecting a top Wānaka fish n chips experience, but instead I got ripped off B grade version. Spent 7 days in Queenstown and surrounds. hands down best fish burger. Is it better than the famous burger joint in Queenstown?! Well try for yourself! Delicious but most importantly very fresh!!
