Overall food is tasty.
French onion soup was a surprise. Was expecting something like mushroom soup with different ingredients. Didn't expect to find cheese inside, cheese tarik some more. Had fun played with it.. Still goes well with their garlic bread. 5🌟
Pork chop and steak is properly marinated. A bit salty for my family, but people who like strong taste will love it. Not suitable for people who love light flavoring and original meat taste. 4🌟
Love their pasta, herb smells good, and generous portion. 5🌟

French Onion Soup
Fell in love at first bite. This place is always great! Atmosphere is chill and cool. Friendly and cheerful staff. Humble and committed bosses, always hands on, making sure the food quality is consistent. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Grilled meat make to perfection, and for their prices it’s 100% worth.
Highly recommended if you are near Kota Kemuning.
Pork chop, caesar salad and mash potatoes are always out family favourite. They have added so many dishes and side dishes into the menu. The portions are good too. Shall try others too

We first tried Charcoal Grill when they were at a kopitiam at Kota Kemuning. They have since moved to their own place, definitely more comfy with nice cafe vibes. Located just behind CIMB Kota Kemuning / same row with Poliklinik Shaik.

Bacon & Mushroom Aglio Olio (RM 24) - we requested to omit the chilli as we wanna share it with the kiddos

Chunky Mushroom Soup
Lovely, clean and inviting. Restaurant was full on a Saturday night. They don’t accept reservations. Have to walk in and wait for a table. We arrived at 8pm and there were 2 groups ahead of us. Waited about 20 minutes for our table
Menu is varied. Kids are familiar with the restaurant as my son knows the manager. We had
1. French Onion soup with garlic bread - tasty
2. Japanese sweet potato - tasty & great for sharing.
3. Steak - my elder son loved it. Absolutely delicious.
4. Fettuccine bolognese - my 11yo’s favourite. It was delicious. Meat sauce is a combo of beef & pork.
5. Caesar salad - it was ok. a little simple
There are lots more interesting food choices on the menu. We will definitely return to try out the others.

Nice and cosy ambience with good service (Pls keep it up!) If you are looking for a Western food in this area, this is one of the places that you can go to. Good mushroom soup.. charcoal grill lamb chop is good 👍🏻 No complaints with other dishes.

Once in a while, I would unearth a hidden gem. This was one of the times when I found an awesome western restaurant that serves superbly grilled meats - in Kota Kemuning of all places 🥲😅 . It took me about 45 minutes just to reach this township.
The Charcoal Grill is located quite near to Nota & Abanico, the other two good F&B establishments that I raved about. Unfortunately they didn't take reservation so I had to reach there early - 6pm to be exact because they opened for dinner at that time. Sure enough, the whole restaurant was packed in less than 30 minutes and those who came later either being put into waiting list, or turned away if they couldn't wait.
◾Signature Marinated Pork Chop RM36 - Epig stuff! Love the smokiness & doneness of the meat, which was marinated nicely. Each main is entitled to choose 2 sides and I opted for grilled vegetables and balsamic tuna salad.
◾Signature Marinated NZ Lamb Chop RM45 - while the mint sauce was good, the baked potato with sour cream evoked memory of Victoria Station. I preferred my pork chop.
◾Fajitas with Charcoal Grilled Pork RM74 - aromatic grilled pork in fajitas seasoning with sides of grilled vegetable (capsicum, onion & mushroom), 6 pieces of flour tortillas, guacamole, tomato salsa, grated sharp cheddar, lime wedges and a big dollop of sour cream. Options to change to beef at RM8 extra! I stole a few pieces of the meat to try and gotta say that I was wowed.
◾A Legit Coney Dog RM25 - rich Coney Island inspired meat sauce slathered on pork sausage, and served with a side of fries. A good choice for the young ones.
This place is not high end or grand restaurant that needs to dress to the nines. Families, couples and friends walked in casually in their shorts and T-shirts to eat. But the quality of their food was on point, I'd say one of the better in town.

Signature Marinated Pork Chops
A hidden gem in Kota Kemuning.
Located in the busy commercial neighborhood of Kota Kemuning next to Gamuda Walk Mall. The menu is simple but the food tastes fantastic, one of the best I had.
For a couple of 2 like us, a main course charcoal grill chop for each is MORE THAN ENOUGH as the side dishes are huge. Each grill chop comes with 2 side dishes selection.
My top choices for the side dish will be baked bean sour cream and Caesars salad.
Guess what? The marinated grilled pork chop was so juicy with every bite you had came with aroma explosion.

Love the signature marinated signature pork chop and mushroom soup. The meat is well marinated and grilling is on point. Meat is juicy and tender. You get to choose 2 side dishes to pair with the meat.
Don't really fancy the onion soup. Soup portion is very small for the price. "
Grill" is in the name of this place, therefore, it's better to stick to their grilled meat. Aglio Olio pasta is passable, spaghetti is overcooked.
Japanese grilled potato is too salty and forgettable.
Overall, the food at this place is a bit salty for me. If the chef can reduce a lil bit of salt, it will be perfect.
