Tri-Tip for 1
Walk in the door and you will find out why this place is so awesome. The owners are super friendly, and they treat you like family. The buffet may appear limited, but the quality of food is packed with flavor and homemade. The meat is supplied by the family's own ranch, so you know it's fresh. They support their community by offering products which are all locally made, i.e. nuts, spices, sauces, etc. This speaks volumes about their character. It is worth your time to visit so you too can enjoy the experience of this restaurant. My only regret is that I could only give it 5 stars, should be more like 10 stars.
I honestly cannot say enough about this place! Everything served is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. As someone who typically knows what she wants, I could close my eyes and point and be beyond satisfied with what ends up on my plate. The meats are delectable, the sides are light and refreshing. But the things that stands out most to me is the service. The owners treat you like family and are dedicated to keeping things local. As the wife of a chef, it’s rare that I can say that I enjoy EVERYTHING a restaurant serves, but here I am... always wanting to come back for more. Affordable and good for dine in or take out. Great if you don’t feel like cooking... I would be doing the community a dishonor if I did not spread the word. Go here. Eat here. It won’t be your last time.
I walked in and was immediately hit with a friendly greeting and a slap of smokey goodness!
I tried to be nice and not talk with my mouth full. But that's hard Todo when you have smoked meat being offered to you. And honestly, who's gonna say no to that. The owners Mr.Rich In Smoke and Mrs Kim Possible as I kindly refer to them. Have a great love for what they are doing. Most everything they offer is local from produce in the salads to the star of the show. That home grown pork!
I took home a bit of everything and made a sandwich that my husband raved about and thanked me for all evening. I promised him a trip over so he can see for himself.
Trading Post is the friendliest place! I had a pulled pork sandwich, made from pork raised on the family farm. The sandwich is a build your own with condiments and sides from a bar. She weighed my plate when I was done and charged me a very reasonable amount. The food was all delicious!
A great and family-friendly place to go. Lots of different local products for sale, including honey, almond spread, bbq sauce, and many other items.
