And as much as NAU charging!! This is not ok…believe my daughter ate some beef and we were face timing as she was eating and it didn’t look so good. I should’ve told her not to eat it. That evening she was sick seems like with food poisoning!! Unbelievable and she a freshman so this didn’t live a good vibe for newcomers. Doesn’t get better we make consider a transfer! Poor kids!!!!

Food's nothing to rave about, much better than the HotSpot thats for sure. I mainly get from the pasta area which tends to be a bit flavorless at times, regardless the wait time is insane because they have one person cooking for multitudes of people, I do appreciate the BYO aspect, which might add to the wait time. The grilled food area is probably their main highlights as they give pretty average food, but their fries are either under salted or oversalted, there's no in between. The only consistently amazing place is the desert which time and time again is really nice and yummy as a treat. Would be better if the milk worked for once to compliment the cookies.
Overall okay, not the best but not the worst buffet style restaurant I've seen, not worth the 15 dollars if you don't have a meal plan, otherwise decent value if you happened to have to succumb to purchasing a meal plan.
FYI: Try to avoide the pizza, its a hit or miss on whether the bread is fully baked or not, had one just fine, the next the dough was still raw
Last week, I came here because the menu promised me some broccoli cheddar soup. And what did they have? NO SOUP! Never coming back. Good hummus though.
Not the best place ever but it's pretty decent. There is a wide selection of food from pizza, burgers, veggies/vegan, pasta and tacos, to desserts and fruits. The selection varies a lot day by day (and even by the time of the day sometimes) so it can be a very different experience. Staff was always helpful and friendly.
Some days are better than others. Probably depends on who is working. Got Vegan options, place to order sandwiches and pasta how you want em, an area that serves food depending on time of day, salad bar, good selection of desserts (less than the other buffet but actual good flavors of ice cream no soft serve), and a couple other smaller stations for pizza and tapas.
Personally, I like a restaurant with a wider variety of foods. Compared to The Union, The DüB seems to be healthier choices. However, their options can vary in flavor. The other day they were serving lemon chicken with grill marks. I've had charred Mahi Mahi and my Dad's well done steak before, but this chicken was like eating charcoal. Overall, The DüB has "healthier" options, but they're less filling when compared to the cookies, self serve ice cream, and Beef Steak 'N Noodles you can get at The Union.
Food is really good for a college cafeteria, I'm very impressed with their selection and variety. From darn good pizza to fish and vegan options. They seem to have it all. I was there during the summer, so I'm sure during the school year their options are even more impressive.
Don't go within an hour of closing. They won't have any food to serve except pizza and all the workers will be rude to you telling you arbitrarily that the person in front of you is the last person they'll serve because they are "Shutting down" twenty minutes before the official closing of the dining hall...
This year the quality of food has been awful. They try new things and every time they are just straight up nasty. Why can't they just make normal good food?? Some staff have dirty hygiene and thats not healthy when working with food. Cmon NAU
