Enjoyed a great meal while sharing life experiences with waitress, patrons, and owner. Exactly the kind of atmosphere I was looking for! If anywhere in Laos do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal at the Fat Cat! Well worth it! I will be back!

If you look for Mexican food or Smash burger, FAT CAT is the best place I can recommend! the place is little hidden but worth the effort! Best burritos, tacos, nachos in town (only on Tuesday)! Smash burger is very generous..They offer as well various dishes and good selection of drinks! Brent and Tin are doing a fabulous job! Highly recommended

The place is a bit difficult to find, it has a red lantern hanging outside and beside an open field. First time we had a difficult time to find it, but it worth the time looking for it! We went there twice during our stay, first time we had the schnitzel with bacon and parmesan chicken. The bacon has a smoky taste. Second time we came for the famous Taco Tuesday, huge portion of Taco fillings. Everything is super good. Brat is also a nice person to talk to, you can learn many good places to visit while at Luang Prabang. Fun fact, he even speaks very good Mandarin. This is a not to be missed place while at Luang Prabang.

Guys, this is no joke. I recently tried the Classic Hamburger at Fat Cat in Luang Prabang (Californian owner), and it was the best hamburger I've ever had in town. My son and I are hamburger fans and have tried almost all of them in any restaurants in the city, but none of them compare to the explosive beef flavour and fantastic recipe of Fat Cat.
The standard American-style hamburger is incredibly tasty and has become our top No.1 in our humble family ranking. It doesn't have any special cheese, unlike some very good other hamburgers in town, but it doesn't need it, just standard cheese does it. Sure your will love it, if you're a hamburger hunter like us, or not. Next time I will try their other hamburgers (on Wednesday only) and their tacos (on Tuesday only). We live in Vientiane, and even there, we haven't found a better one. You don't want to miss that experience. And I forgot to mention this is not expensive, being accessible to all. Really thanks, guys.

Hidden gem dive bar & delicious taco tuesdays! Husband got the fish tacos & i got a chicken burrito. Both were large portions & amazing. Soo good we're gonna go back to try a different days menu. Each day is different & the owner tells you the menu options for the night. Super nice owner & staff, very friendly & welcoming! Definetly recommend this place.

The best hole in the wall dive bar experience in Luang Prabang, Taco Tuesday is not to be missed. Amazing Mexican street style tacos with an assortment of fine salsas. Great Cocktails. Wonderful People and Excellent Ambiance. Have been back multiple times.
