That's a nice idea to order nicely cooked seafood and tasty salads. Gerritys Supermarket is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. The clients of this place don't appreciate appalling prices. But this spot scored 4.3 in the Google rating system.

I make it a point to stop in when I'm visiting. Love the deli and the bakery items. It is smaller than what I'm normally used to, but I really like that about Gerrity's. I prefer this location vice the one on S Main Ave. (just my preference). I stock up during my visit and stop again to stock up for the ride back south! Great service and fantastic prices!

Love the selections and very clean however the the Lady in the Deli was very rude!!! It was our first time there and didn’t realize you had to take a number!!! We simply didn’t know…. We saw a sign but was unclear where to get the ticket…. Long story short this rude lady from the deli was like “ just read!!! “. You’re lucky!!!! And was very rude!!! In the meantime a young lady stepped in very politely and said “I will take care of you”. Actually we were the only customers at the time… she was pleasant and got our fish and wished us well!

Love the ready-made dinners, but the store is small and crowded. The salad bar has no place to set your salad down and get your dressing, add croutons, and cranberries. You must try to balance it on a very small ledge as you need your hands to do the aforementioned. Hence, spillage abounds and is often overlooked. But it is truly a hometown grocery, and the many people who go there have patronized it for years. Many, many years. Cashiers, deli ppl, and the butchers all know your name, and you are greeted with warm smiles and a high degree of professionalism. Kind of makes you feel warm and fuzzy all over, and that is always a good thing.

Best selection and prices for pastries, breads and all baked products. Not just because the Meadow Ave location is closest for me as I've shipped their other locations. Rotisserie chickens are the best ! And the deli has a great selection and good service.

This is a great family owned, neighborhood store. I love the water dispenser outside and I also love how the produce and meats are located near each other. It makes it easier to plan and shop for whole meals!

Bakery section is to die for!! For people counting calories, don't even look in that area bcuz it is irresistible! 💕 We get all of our birthday cakes here, and they do incredible custom orders too. But the store is well-stocked, well-maintained, and kept clean. Lots of options for anything you're looking for. Staff is super friendly too! Parking is a little iffy, and check out lines are usually pretty backed up. Their prices are higher than other food stores tho.

I am now The Best Dishwasher And Rotisserie Chicken Cook position for Gerrity's Super Market Deli Worker that took the position I've been working here for about a month in a half now and I love working with new and exciting people. The paycheck is good the food is amazing and out of this world. Come shop at Gerrity's Super Market on Meadow Avenue in Scranton Pennsylvania USA. There are discounts everyday. And if you need a job they don't discriminate. Besides against the law to discriminate anyone from working at any jobs that you apply for.

Senior citizens' day is on Tuesday! I happened to be a senior! The store was busy! When leaving, it got even busier! The cashier was great! The employee (Bob) bagged my order, and he was great too! All the employees are awesome! Thank you, Gerrity's! As always, the Fresh Grocer cashiers are very nice, polite, and very helpful, and they handle my items with the utmost care when bagging my order! What more can I say!!!

We go grocery shopping there for work. Normally the workers are really nice, the last time I went I got a really rude cashier. I won't go lower on stars because of one rude worker. Their prices are fair, sometimes they are out of stuff we need. It's a nice grocery store.
